They are putting out the “we feel good about Romeo” noise, which then gets picked up by everybody and their uncle as “romeo is coming, it’s confirmed”. We aren’t hearing that on the IU side, because we have actual reporters that have integrity and that legitimately have sources that aren’t the coaching staff trying to control the narrative. I know it’s small and probably means absolutely nothing, but I love that in the Peegs article Tim Langford kept saying Archie “will” in talking about him coaching Romeo. He didn’t say would, he said will. Even if it’s subconscious I feel like it’s a good sign that the Langford’s have bought into the idea of Archie being their sons coach.
