Just a dumb question, as I haven't been able to follow them as closely being where I'm at. Does their falling off have anything to do with Granger being back?

I like the "old" traditional uniforms, but at what point do you make the change? Look at NCAA football. Some of those uniforms are UGLY, but these kids nowadays WANT those types of uniforms. I like some of the designs above. Just NO names on the back. I LOATHE when the Irish football team does it several times a year. Boo! Change doesn't always have to be drastic to work.

Dear Lord it's about time. Get me to 7:00 CST tomorrow night and I'll be heading home for the weekend to spend it with the wife and the 20 month old daughter! Yee haw!

And this is what truly sucks about working in Nebraska. My Fox Sports Midwest is NOT the Indiana feed, obviously! If they happen to show it on NBA TV I can catch them.

Sheehey reminds me honestly of Tommy Rees. Got a great brain/head for the game, but the skills just aren't quite there. I think both of them will be great coaches someday down the road. Or they could just party together, I mean, Tommy's got "got people" after all.......

Thing that makes me mad STILL about that T, he was yelling as he dunked, and continued the yell as he was landing. T'd for taunting. I've seen way worse than that and they let it go. I know that they were itching to T up either him or Vic for showboating, but damn it man.
-
Actually, if I remember, last year after he got T'd up after that dunk on the road, Coach Crean said he told Sheehey and Victor to tone down the antics, and they lost their edge then. Lost 3 of 4 or something like that. Maybe I'm just way off base. Wouldn't be the first time.

I got 99 problems but a Pritch ain't one! Also, I agree with the assessment that off season workouts are big. These guys need to find that will to win/get it done. Yogi seems to be the only one at times with the never say die attitude.

Yes the officiating is bad but damn it all to hell can we make a basket? Something? It's silly how many games were lost due to turnovers and scoring droughts. Sent from my Galaxy S4 using BtownBanners mobile app. -

Well, they started strong at Nebraska, Michigan State, etc and faded in the second half. Maybe the opposite today? Sent from my Galaxy S4 using BtownBanners mobile app. -

Does it look as bad as it sounds? Listening at the job trailer and about to head to the apartment to watch. Stupid Nebraska. Can't wait to be done and back home in Indiana. -
I think here: it's been awhile... http://www.whcc105.com/
I use the tune in app here in Nebraska, and I've found if I'm connected through the Pfizer website wifi it won't stream. Turn off wifi, and I've got Fisch and Coach Waltman (loved his time at ISU) weird but at least if I'm in the job trailer I can get the game. Sent from my SCH-I545 using BtownBanners mobile app

The Other Meet and Greet Thread or Something

Some people on forums like to know the people they're posting with. I've done this on several other forums, and it makes it more personal. I can see, that you are the type of person that doesn't care about that. Oh well, to each his own. -
Thanks! I have an iPhone for work, and a Galaxy S4 for personal, so this makes me happy. I'll check it out. My fraternity brother runs an Indiana State site and uses Tapatalk, which is awesome, but from what I'm seeing here, it looks like the app does the same thing.

HI there! I'm Vince, but everyone calls me Pappy. 38 years old. Born and raised in Mooresville, Indiana, I have been a lifelong Hoosier Basketball, Notre Dame Football, Indiana Pacer, Indianapolis Colts, and, since I am a proud graduate of there, all things Sycamores. I have a beautiful wife and a 20 month old daughter who is my world. Approximate Age and Location: Late 30's living in Terre Haute, but am in Lincoln, Nebraska for work (construction management), Are you a born and raised IU fan? Yes. When you first knew you were an IU fan? Photos on dad's lap in 1975 when I was 4-5 months old. What sports did you play in High School and College? N/A Besides IU, favorite sports teams? See above. Did you attend IU? IUPUI briefly from 1993-1995, but transferred to Indiana State. What is your favorite IU Basketball Memory? Watching games from the tunnel. My late father-in-laws best man was Ron Felling. Talk about your hookups..... Who is your favorite basketball player of all time? Calbert, but Victor is a VERY close 2nd. Had he come back this year, he would have the top spot no doubt. What is your favorite IU Football memory? N/A Who is your favorite IU Football player? A.T. Best IU Sports game ever attended? 1993 in the Dome. What brings you to this board? When HSN 1.0 died, I just didn't have the time or money for premium IU sites. Been really burned out on work, and when I'm home, it's time with the wife and kids. -
Pretty much sums it up for me.

Stumbled upon this site last night, and recognize names/avatars from Hoosier Sports Nation. Glad to have a place to read/post, which is not as much as I'd like. Working in Nebraska (got to go to the game), and when I'm home in Terre Haute, I'm with the wife and daughter, or at my alma mater watching the Trees play. Looking forward to reading/contributing as much as I can. By the way, is there an "introduce yourself" section, or like a getting to know you post?
