hell, the entire state of Indiana gets an F... this is only the 2nd time in the last 40 years that the state isn't represented in the NCAA tournament...   what a horrid year.

since we are discussing beefing up the schedule... I say bite the bullet and play UK on a neutral site...no way should we NOT be playing Kentucky every year... I don't care how much of a chicken Cal is...time to get it going again.

I want nothing for the best for Alford, as he was one of my favorites growing up... but there is no way he would leave UCLA, especially if he finds some kind of success there- not that IU would try to get him... and didn't I read that he has a tad bit of resentment towards IU, being that they didn't give him as much as a peek when Knight was fired?

Man, Iowa really got screwed with that play-in game scenario... UofL got the shaft as well... but the Shockers are flat out going to have to earn their keep...that road for them is brutal!

NV isn't ready, and anybody that feeds to him that he is, is doing a major disservice to his real potential as a pro...the kid is barely 18 and gets frustrated with an Illinois triple team or a Northwestern zone. remember when the NCAA was considering making the tournament 128 teams a couple of years ago? I'm wondering if the current Hoosiers would have even made the cut for that field??

gonna be rooting on my cross county neighbors, the Silver Creek Dragons... it will be tough as Greensburg is #1 in 3A but Creek has improved throughout the year, and several of my neighbors are Creekers so I gotta support em.

I'm probably going to get some kind of backlash for this but what the hell, it's Friday night... I was reading an article on Brad Stevens the other day, and he was recalling his childhood as an avid Hoosier fan, and attending the game that Bob Knight threw the chair... and he went on to explain that as a child he would mimic Knight as best he could, and longed to replace BK at Indiana... of course that never happened, and he even managed to find his own style of successful coaching that is pretty much the opposite of Knight's style... I don't know how Indiana managed to not open the door to this guy years ago, and I know hindsight is 20/20, but man, how much different things would be today if Brad was at the helm at IU.

I don't know if Louisville is crooked or not, but Russdiculous has broken a record for points scored in a half (UofL record)...that dude is unbelievable at times...
