Yeah, I was there. I'm not sure about assists. Like I said above, he seemed uninterested. Maybe he was tired from the game and travel last night. He had some great drives and could have probably done that a lot more, but chose not to. He was 0-3 from 3, and scored his points at the rim. He definitely didn't seem selfish. Final 77-46. Lander left the game with 2.40 or so to play. I believe he finished with 17. If I didn't know who he was, I would have thought he was a nice player, but definitely not one ranked as high as he is. It almost looked as if he was uninterested in the game. I was being recruited to play baseball at IU during the Bob Morgan era. To narrow down the time period, I remember seeing Jamal Meeks in the weight room during my visit. However, because of some bad information from my high school guidance counselor, I didn't take geometry. Well, no geometry meant no IU. So it's Geometry Hoosier. Two years ago , because of their budget, UE eliminated their girls tennis program. Things haven't gotten any better. I know someone who was employed by them recently. They told me their pay continued to drop until they couldn't afford to stay on. Also Lance Wilkerson, who had been the senior associate athletic director, lost his job due to budget cuts. I have also heard, but cannot confirm, that baseball coach Wes Carroll is being paid by his brother Jamey, a UE graduate, 10 year MLB veteran, and current special assistant with the Pirates. I've watched him play several times during his career. I don't understand the hype either. I think when he plays guys his size on a consistent basis he will struggle.
