  1. yeah I saw 7:10 for Thursday but I want to know about Saturday. Haven't been able to find it
  2. when would tip time for Saturday be announced? I'm supposed to work until 8 [emoji31]
  3. Those thousands of kids paying out of state tuition don't come here knowing that they will be paying that amount of money and choosing to do so. Tim Priller came here under a basketball scholarship. It is not right to now tell him he has to pay $50,000 per year to stay here. I have no idea what Tim's financial situation is but >95% of Americans cannot afford that
  4. He can't be a walk-on. Under the student-athlete bill of rights he is guaranteed 4 years of free education from Indiana University. We can't still have him be part of the team but just classify his scholarship differently. The is illegal. Otherwise we could have as many scholarships as we wanted if we just classified everyone as a walk-on but still paid for them to go to school
  5. 1. Nobody plays 13 players. There are teams with scholarship reductions that are still doing fine. It's not ideal but 2. Crean offered him Priller a scholarship and he accepted it. That isn't Tim's fault. I didnt deserve a scholarship to play basketball at Indiana University but if I had been offered one I absolutely would have taken it. I agree that it's not ideal to have a player clearly not capable of contributing at this level on scholarship but I have a problem with kicking someone off the team who has worked hard, stayed out of trouble, and represented himself well as a Hoosier just because he isn't as good of a player as we would like. If there's anyone to blame it is the staff for offering the scholarship in the first place

(2015) SF Ogugua Anunoby to IU

one thing I have been thinking about recently: Priller and April are usually the counter examples when it is claimed that Crean has an unusual eye for talent. I was thinking that we never really recruited them. We had never heard of either of them until a tweet popped up saying that they were committing to IU. The others, Crean has aggressively recruited as hard as anyone before they were committed. With Holt, Hoetzel, OG, Ibi Watson, Marvin Clark, Yante Maten, Gelon, Josh Cunningham, Devonte Green there has been at least a few months of scouting and recruitment. In those Cases Crean has a near flawless track record, with Gelon, Watson, and Green still to be determined. I don't know maybe I'm crazy but just an observation

    2016-2017 Indiana Basketball

wearing the made in March uniforms. I like them
  8. I agree, but if you think our players don't smoke weed you will be disappointed
  9. I still think Hoetzel is going to be a very good college player. He has a ton of talent. Wish he would've stuck around here. Think we could use him next year
  10. am I the only one that thinks right now Juwan is better than OG? I think obviously due to his physical gifts OG has the higher pro potential but as of now Juwan is the better player. Love them both though
  11. Durham is in town, I believe they were working on Langford, Scruggs, and Phinese as well

    Tim Beckham fired from Illinois

@RyanBakerMedia Some credible sources are telling me Lovie Smith will be the next #Illini head football coach. @cbschicago

    Who's Gonna Fill Yogi's Shoes???

Yeah I think we are way too hard on Blackmon around here. Offensively he is incredible. Other than them both being great shooters Blackmon and Zeisloft do not compare. I love Z but Blackmon is on a different level.

    Who's Gonna Fill Yogi's Shoes???

I think James will fill in pretty much offensively. I don't think they fit well playing together but I think James as the main scorer on the team will be very good. Obviously he is a major step down from Yogi defensively and we haven't seen him be a vocal leader but offensively I don't think there is much drop off
  15. its supposed to be finished in October 2016
  16. I don't think he has much interest in us

    BIG TEN CHAMPIONS

100 obvious exaggeration but they missed a ton in the last minute. Think Burke missed 2 and then Hardaway and Burke both missed front of 1-and-1
  18. NoahW35

    BIG TEN CHAMPIONS

and Burke and Hardaway missed about 100 free throws

    Hoosier Transfers and Recruiting Targets

I think Draft Express has Shake listed something like 17th overall for the 2017 draft
  20. as in he removed us so we took Green? Or we took Green and removed him?
  21. From yesterday @leek_willi34 #MSU #GoGreen #IZZONE [emoji78][emoji119]
  22. I think he is very interested but Michigan State is definitely up there as well

    TOM CREAN FIRED

how many of the elite coaches ever have been a sure thing at the time they were hired? Boeheim to Syracuse? K to Duke? Knight to Indiana? Roy Williams to Kansas? Izzo to Michigan State? Then we can get into Billy Donovan, Bo Ryan etc. Not a single one of them were a sure thing when they were hired. Yes, I'm aware that there is a list 50 times that long of coaches who failed but it doesn't mean we shouldn't try, and choose to idle in a state of mediocrity.

    TOM CREAN FIRED

I don't think he should be fired after this season, but for those who do it's not firing him for the sake of firing him. It's firing him because they believe he isn't good enough for Indiana. if the reason for not firing him is for fear that the next guy might not be any better, then we will never be elite again. There are coaches out there other than Brad Stevens who are capable of winning championships at Indiana. Will we hire the right one? I don't know, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't try.
