(2017) PF Billy Preston to Kansas
NoahW35 replied to Class of '66 Old Fart's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
I don't know his exact situation but it's the same place that Mudiay and Ferguson came from. Trevon Duval and Billy Preston are both top 10 players in this class who have been at Prime Prep and neither is being recruited by Duke or Kentucky. Arizona stops recruiting him after getting burned by Terrance Ferguson. Hope for his sake he is able to play but eligibility could be a real concern -

Believe he spent time at Prime Prep and could have eligibility issues -
Absolutely. We were clearly better than Maryland on Friday. Owned them all over the field. Quit being aggressive in the last 15 minutes and gave up a super weak goal that trickled in. Played the game without Grant Lillard too. Saw Notre Dame in person last week and they were extremely impressive. As good or better than IU. Maryland and Stanford were not as good as us

(2017) PF/C Sterling Manley to UNC

Had a major injury (think broken leg) and hasn't played since February. Probably held his recruiting back some -

Apparently he was at 2015 Hoosier Hysteria. I didn't know we had been in contact for that long. West Virginia, Wisconsin, Xavier some other schools recruiting him -

Ibi Watson's high school -
I haven't seen a single website out there that didn't have Smith as a 4*. Could be wrong. Hope we can get a commitment soon after his visit. Would hate to lose out to Stanford

Absolutely. But if the class as a whole ends up something like Waters, Durham, Wilkes, Smith, and a quality big man then that would be a very nice class. I wouldn't judge it off of who the first two to commit were. I really think Wilkes is coming

Prediction League Game #2 Ball State at Indiana

IU 38 Ball State 24 -
OG was apparently very close to leaving for the NBA this year so I would expect him to go if he's considered a first round pick. I think the class will be 5 and even could see 6 because that is just what Crean usually does. Hopefully we can get a commitment from Smith this weekend

#IUFB Indiana vs Ball State Pre Game Thread
NoahW35 replied to jdailey1981's topic in Indiana Hoosiers Football
I have to think it will be fairly full. First game for all the freshman and first of the year for everyone else, coming off of a win. Also would imagine that quite a few Ball State students will probably come down -
Former IU commit Taj Williams with 11 catches for 158 yards and a Touchdown in his first game for TCU

Was at the game, we were clearly the better team. Shouldn't have given up the first half goal. Excited to see how we do Sunday vs Stanford -

(2017) SF Kris Wilkes to UCLA

Have to imagine that IU will do an in-home after the Xavier visit if it gets to that point -

Possible that smith commits on his visit next weekend? Had heard IU and Villanova were the top two for both Smith and Samuels. Would guess Villanova is unlikely now that Samuels has committed. Stanford a serious threat?

(2017) SF Jordan Tucker- OV 11/30/16

Yeah apparently Syracuse didn't recruit him the way he wanted this summer and IU was the leader here, but Louisville coming hard and making a big impression -
(2017) SF Jermaine Samuels to Villanova
NoahW35 replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
It's been rumored for a while that IU and Villanova are his top 2, with Nova as the leaders. Duke offer might change that, but IU is in there -
(2017) PF Jaren Jackson Jr. to Michigan St.

I think Texas, Kansas, and Michigan State will be around for him -
I'll be taking an exam. Still mad about it

2016 IU Men's Soccer Schedule
NoahW35 replied to ccgeneral's topic in Other Indiana Hoosiers Athletics
Good start. I expected us to possibly start the season in the top 5 so I was a bit surprised to see us at #13/14. Hope we can keep it up -
Go to several IU baseball games and you will notice that IU always has nicer uniforms than their opponent. Adidas does a great Job with the baseball uniforms. The ones pictured above are 'throwback' uniforms that are only worn once or twice per year. The normal uniforms are red with white trim and a white-script Indiana lettering and white pants with red trim. The IU soccer jerseys are awesome, and I'm also a fan of the football jerseys. I would be in favor of a slight altercation to the basketball jerseys but I know I'm in the minority there. Overall I think Adidas does a pretty good job of outfitting IU athletes. The main problem with Adidas is that it's not enticing to most potential recruits. Also the fan gear Adidas puts out mostly sucks

Preseason ranked 14, which is lower than I expected. I consider us legitimate contenders. The entire defense that forced 10 shutouts last year is back and they add a 5 star recruit. We will have the defense and ball control to win a title, but have to be able to put the ball in the net. Can't wait
