You realize that Crean can't just revoke his scholarship, right? That's not at all how it works. I know things have a way of "working themselves out", but he can't just yank his free ride. Also, you seriously think Priller is just going to hand over his scholly and pay out of state tuition?

Well, yeah. He was putting together a heck of a team. But the game has changed a lot since 2002, and even since he walked away at Tech. Suggesting that he might not steamroll everyone in today's game and go undefeated is not a slight to him.

Come on. Things have changed. A lot. And that's hardly a swipe at Knight as a coach. But he would need to adjust. For one, he would actually have to recruit instead of fish.

Glass wants to have some sort of kids area in the stadium, but yes, the current mini field will be gone.

The capacity will increase by perhaps a couple hundred (Edit: H-T article says 200-300). But that's due to the standing room terrace on the third level and the club area (which will also be the new dining hall...there will obviously be a large indoor area and then a patio) on the second level. I imagine that there will be some places to sit there, but you can see from the renderings that there aren't any actual bleachers.

This isn't based on any sort of hard facts, but they may sell beer up there. They already sell alcohol in the club areas, and that will be a contained area as well. A lot of schools have experimented recently with this, and I read that Glass has considered it. With that said, I hope we never sell beer in the entire stadium. Louisville does and it's an atrocious atmosphere.

Its absolutely a big name hire, but there is a very good chance this turns out poorly.

Just watched the football preview, which should be available to rewatch on IU athletics' Facebook page. Open practice on March 6, before the Maryland basketball game. Spring Game will be Little 5 weekend, April 14th,15th, or 16th. Trying to get a post game concert together with a "guy not many of you know." (wink wink)

Yes, with our 0 year bowl drought, we should definitely be targeting coaching candidates.
