Reading this thread is like watching a trainwreck. You know you shouldn't, but you just can't stop yourself.

The biggest frustration for me is this year is for the taking. We just don’t have the pieces. You need solid guard play. If we had that, we would be in the mix. There isn’t a GREAT team in CBB this year. I’m hoping Rob gets out of his funk. He is the key. I’m hoping the rotations will tighten up. It's not all black and white. You say something positive and you're labeled a 'sunshine blowhard'. You say something negative and you're labeled a negative SOB. I support Archie, but I see the issues with this program. You would have to be blind and stupid not to be able to point out what is currently wrong with the program. I think we need to wait for the year to play out and determine what the next step is for the program. To come on here and just bash the program and the University seems a little unproductive. I guess it helps some people. All the negative **** the team did today seemed to be covered, so I didn't really have a lot to add. I didn't think I could add much to the conversation.

If 'winning is all you care about', I would go with Pearl. If you can make that happen, I think he can turn it around. The compliance department would need new rules of engagement for this to work.

I'm an Archie supporter. That was awful. The sub patterns were mind-boggling. With some of the play, I'm okay with Archie taking out players and using a long bench. The issue I had is he would pull players that were performing well. And some of those line ups had zero options to score. I've had concerns since the Neb game and I'm not seeing any real improvements. We need shooters. I'm concerned after 3 years we still don't have anyone that can make the defense honest. If another coach is the option, I'm concerned IU isn't going to have any great candidates knocking down the door. I'll hope it gets better ....
