Wouldn't be surprised to see Hollowell or Davis transfer as well as Noah going pro. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

#IUBASE vs Toledo/Louisville
wsteele replied to ccgeneral's topic in Other Indiana Hoosiers Athletics
I was at the game and the double steal with runners on 1st and 3rd, two outs and the count 1-2 was brilliant!! Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -
If he doesn't make the tournament this year, and we have another year like this year next year (I can see it happening with no Vonleh) then it's time IMO Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Id imagine they would want a crap ton of money.
I'm sure they would, but I wouldn't want to play at Freedom Hall because that is now UKs court. Literally. The floor looks just like Rupp Arenas Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

How much longer until Crean is on the hot seat?
It's not even the losses that bother me the most, it's how we lose them. We usually come out of the gate very strong, and go to halftime w/ a lead. Then at the half, where coaches have to make adjustments, Crean gets blown out of the water. There is a reason why we have choked games like we have this season.
EXACTLY! Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -
I agree with this. Sure if we went to the NIT in consecutive seasons, any coach at storied program would be feeling the heat. Apologies to the OP but generally speaking when I see posts of that nature, I think the person is either just assuming we will be this bad again next season and/or secretly pulling for it to happen because he/she doesn't like the current coach. Noah's decision obviously has a huge impact on the projections for 2014/15 but the players that do return will certainly be a year older, wiser and improved. Our rotation won't be dominated by freshman and sophomores any longer and that by itself is going to help matters along with bringing in some badly needed perimeter shooting help.
I actually like Crean, I just don't agree with some of his decisions during the game. And maybe next year won't be like this year, but with no NV then we will be close. JBJ and RJ coming in help, but I don't think it'll be a full turn around. I live close to Louisville and it's a daily discussion down there about CTC. Maybe it's because we are around championship schools in UofL and UK. I don't know, but I'm not satisfied with sweet 16s. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -

He coached well last night. Just didn't understand Hollowell not getting more minutes after a good first half and not fouling to extend the game Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -
Hope you don't own a gun.......you're pretty quick to the draw...
I don't mean we get rid of him, but he should be on the hot seat if they don't make the tournament two years in a row. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way. Maybe my expectations are unrealistic. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -
I wouldn't mind then playing every year at the Yum! Center. Of course it would be nice to be at AH, but the Yum! Center would be a good half way point for each school. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
Agree. We will have excellent guard play, but it will be horribly thin upfront.
Scary to think Hanner and Davis would be all that we have. Maybe CTC can start looking for JuCo players
Welcome and thanks for your in put. I get what you are saying, but I would rather be in the tournament. Let our young guys feel the big stage, and be ready for next year. Either way, hoping Vonleh stays, we will be darn good next season!!!
Thank you! If Vonleh leaves we are in trouble

TheWatShot---that makes sense as far as recruiting, but as far as this team and experience goes, I would take the NIT

I would almost rather see this team play in the NIT. That way they get to play 2-3 post season games instead of one. It would help get the players a little more ready for next year. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
