(2021) SF - Aminu Mohammed to Georgetown
Dillion replied to Class of '66 Old Fart's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
Why do you believe Duncomb will struggle? Most believe Furst will play and play well his 1st year and I watched Duncomb dominate him. Now obviously that was 1 game but it shows the potential is there and he CAN do it. I also believe Duncomb may be a little bit of a late bloomer and grow a ton in a year, as a player, and outplay his ranking. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
(2021) PF Trey Kaufman to Purdue
Dillion replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
I know that it’s been forgotten because of the whole COVID thing, and Purdue has been better than we have been the last 10 years or so. However, did we not have the better season last year? Purdue wasn’t even a tourney team and now we want to talk about how much better there roster is than ours. I know Archie has a lot to prove still, but I do really like the roster and kids that he has been recruiting. I think he will get the ship going in the right direction. (2021) SG - Blake Wesley to Notre Dame

Count me as someone just not sold on Wesley. I wouldn’t be that disappointed to see him go elsewhere! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Duncomb looking good in the first half against Furst!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I know I’m probably in the minority and I understand why we would want the scholarship to open. However, I love this mentality and hope it works out for him and Indiana both. This article Atleast shows me he is willing to work and see what happens rather than running away just because it’s hard. I’m assuming he won’t ever play but it won’t be because of a lack of effort. Hopefully it clicks for him and he has a great junior and senior year. I don’t see it happening but I’m rooting for him!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

(2018) SF - Jerome Hunter Transfers To Xavier
Dillion replied to Class of '66 Old Fart's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
I wouldn’t think this would be much of an issue. He didn’t really have an “injury” per say. Therefor I would think he should be good to go mentally. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
2019 Off-Season IU Roster News and Moves

Let’s not forget Jake would have fouled out in 10 minutes if Archie would have let him. The time he did get he clearly wasn’t ready. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

2019 Off-Season IU Roster News and Moves
Dillion replied to CrossboneIU22's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Love....love....love...I dont know why people dont understand this. Coaches play the most talented kids they have on the roster. They play the kids they trust and they see them a lot more than we do. If Forrester was not getting time it's because he did not show enough in practice and he certainly didnt show enough in games. There is a reason Archie played Fitzner over him and its simply because Jake was even less ready than Fitzner. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk -

I'm talking about all of them not just Green. We have settled way too much and are 0-6 from 3. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk -

We have to stop settling for the 3. Just because we beat the double team and your wide open take it to the rack! Illinois wants IU to shoot it. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk -
Tough coaches wear on soft players as time goes on and ultimately this is what you are left with especially when things start to go south. I still have faith in Archie and agree with all the things he is saying. I dont fault those that are blaming Archie and that are frustrated he ultimately is the leader and should take most of the blame. I also understand that things dont get changed over night and sometimes players are who they are especially from a toughness standpoint. When we get through 2 or 3 cycles of Archie guys and we still see the same things then I will worry. The offensive struggles dont worry me as much as other. Our offense has been fine when we get some shots to fall. Even tonight we hit a few early and we were rolling then some key guys got into foul trouble and we couldn't hit the broad side of the barn. And when you dont have tough players and your struggling offensively soft players stop playing defense and giving effort. I would love to say it's going to get fixed this year but that's probably a lie. These are the players we have right now and they dont have the same makeup as the head coach as most were not recruited by the head coach. Hopefully Archie can get his type of players and get this thing turned around!! I'm still keeping faith. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk

(2021) PG Khristian Lander to Western Kentucky U.
Dillion replied to Uspshoosier's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Their is a younger Nunge who use to play with Lander when he was with The Pockey City. But they did not play together this year. Nunge might have been with Indiana Elite but not 100 percent on that one. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk -
2020 General Recruiting Thread
Dillion replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
He is a very tall skinny lengthy player. Has a huge wingspan and is a dominating presence on defense. He's probably 6"10 or 6"11. He has never really shown an offensive game but Bosse just graduated three 1000 point scorers so he didn't really have to do much. Time will tell if he can play on the offensive end, but his presence on D is tremendous. Reminds me kind of Jaren Jackson when he was a freshman and sophomore. Not real impressive but he developed tremendously as a junior and senior. So time will tell if kiyron develops the same way. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk -

2017 July Evaluation Period
Dillion replied to Class of '66 Old Fart's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
Yes but I'm assuming if Garland commits it's because he has talked with Romeo and knows he is coming as well. Otherwise, with Garlands comments recently, it wouldn't make sense for him to commit here. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using BtownBanners mobile app
