I want Duncomb back. At some point in time we need a few guys like leal and Duncomb who work their butts off and become very useful as juniors and seniors. Not all 13 guys can play. I watched him dominate Furst in the Indy heat vs Indy elite game. He has the potential if we give him some time. Most on here want Wisconsin bigs who come out of the woodwork. Duncomb could be just that. Plus I thought he looked good in what little work he did get. We all want shooters but realistically that isn’t going to happen in a year. If you believe what Walsh said then most on this team CAN shoot it’s more of a between the ears type thing. Woodson needs to somehow figure out how to flip a switch mentally with some of these kids because I do believe most of our players can make shots in practice. Obviously games are a different story right now but who’s to say that cannot change? In my opinion it’s our best for our team if Trayce and Race did come back even if that means we didn’t get any shooters. Hopefully the guys will improve enough to be average shooters and make 2-3 more a game. That in its self would be huge. I just hope recruits aren’t turned off by watching Woodson and this team this year. Woody has some good players coming in, but if I was a recruit and watching Stewart and Kopp play a lot of useless minutes while Geronimo and Bates sat I’d be thinking Nah not for me. Not to mention how bad and stagnant the offense has looked. I’m hoping with more talent and more than 1 guy on the team being able to play out of the PnR offense it will look a lot better. I’m pretty sure Michigan hasn’t fouled us. When you aren’t agressive or just dribble around the perimeter not putting pressure on a defense the other team usually doesn’t foul. Just because 12 minutes has been played doesn’t mean the refs have to call a foul if there has been none. I for one think the officials have been fine on both ends. I know this is just an excuse but done forget the injuries to Rob and Trey. I firmly believe if those 2 are healthy all year then we have Atleast 3 more wins to our total. Again I know everyone has injuries but for a fan base and team who needs desperately to have some glimmer of hope and get to the NCAA tourney those were huge to this roster that needs a talent upgrade. I think we all knew this. Hell we could lose Saturday and win the BTT. But the likely good of a lot of that happening is very low. That’s why Wednesday was important. I can not for the life of me understand why college players cannot figure out a 2-3 zone. Get the ball to the middle and short corners. Guards move the ball and attack gap to draw 2. Why is this so difficult. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This is where I am at. Just because his basketball IQ is high doesn’t mean he is necessarily good. There are a lot of talent smart basketball minds out there that weren’t the most talented of players. This is the category I’m placing Leal in. He doesn’t push the needle for me at all and I don’t see it when he is on the court. Archie and Woodson both have not played him huge minutes so they don’t see it either. The minutes Woodson has given him have come from injuries and boneheaded teammates. I hope IU is not putting a bunch of Leal on the floor because then we really wouldn’t be any good. And when he is in the game our offense looks good? He just started playing because of injuries and suspension and we just went on a losing streak. He didn’t seem to help out a whole lot during that stretch. I get it I like the kid and I’m sure he is an astounding as far as character and everything goes. I to am not seeing the Leal love. Hasn’t been great when he has had his chance. Atleast he finally hit a shot last night but his defense was cringe worthy at times. We don’t have a whole lot of good options but still I don’t see Leal getting big minutes ever while he is at IU unless he improves drastically.
