Well where I come from Hockey jerseys are acceptable formal wear for weddings & funerals.  I have dropped some hints to my kid @ IU that any one of these would make a great gift for dear old dad

Long time Bills fan here - do not despair Colts fans - these are not your father's Buffalo Bills.  The whole city was pumped up for this home opener, while they (Bills) might or might not make the playoffs there was no way they were losing this game - no matter who the opponent was

Thank you for posting your experience with the citation (although that must have sucked for you) It was really bothering me that Holt & Bryant were the only ones cited, good to hear that it (at least to me) doesn't appear they were targeting the players

If he continues to progress this season, I wouldn't be upset if the Bills drafted him next year - probably already more promising that what we have going into camp this year

When my kid first said they wanted to move 500+ miles to attend IU my first thought was that the kid didn't even like basketball.  That is how I defined IU.  Granted now that I have visited B-Town on a number of occasions I realize there is much more to it that that, but IMO those who don't know IU will always associate it with basketball, it is now time to once again associate it with WINNING basketball

While I admit I am curious as to who ultimately made the decision to give them the boot, for me, I am just happy the decision was made.  You play for the name on the front of the jersey, as a member of any IU team you represent the university probably more than anyone else does/can.  With my kid going to IU (travelling 500+ miles to do it) I want people to know that it is an institution with principles & core beliefs, and that NO ONE person is bigger than the program/school

He has been suspended from team effective immediately - IU Statement: We have been made aware that Indiana sophomore Devin Davis was cited by IUPD for possession of marijuana in an IU dormitory room last evening,” IU media relations said in a statement. “Effective immediately, Davis has been suspended from all team activities. Any additional action related to Davis’ status will occur after further review of this matter. We understand that junior Hanner Mosquera-Perea was present at the time of the incident but was not charged by IUPD. Mosquera-Perea’s role, if any, will also be reviewed as part of this matter.”

From ESPN article about off season winners/losers:   No one had a better offseason than Indiana’s coach. The Hoosiers were worried about losing any and all of the trio of Yogi Ferrell, James Blackmon Jr. and Troy Williams. Crean is getting all three back, and Indiana added Thomas Bryant (No. 22 on ESPN 100), one of the most talented big men in the country. The Hoosiers go into the 2015-16 season with high expectations and should compete for one of the top spots in the Big Ten.

Following from Buffalo does pose its challenges - although I do pay extra so I can get the Big Ten Network - my list:   1) Basketball 1a) Football I had to put this as 1a as I am a much bigger FB than BB, only BB I really care about is IU 2) Baseball 3) Soccer 4) Hockey - would be higher if it was Big Ten hockey, tough to follow the team except via social media   Spreading the BTB love to Western New York....
