Respectfully disagree and think a specific combination of inherited traits like athleticism, spatial awareness, and specific fine motor skills produce great basketball talent if practiced/applied consistently. The "drills" of this sort add negligible value at best.

Personally I think this stuff is BS. Have you seen the vid of Luka Doncic doing one of those dribbling plus tennis ball hand-eye coordination drills and looking absolutely lost? Then he goes out on the court, has an MVP-caliber season, and starts dropping 30 points in the finals.

In the transfer portal and NIL era why use a scholarship on a developmental guy? Players develop by playing, not sitting on the end of the bench. I like what the staff is doing here in finding impact multi year players plus some upperclassmen with 1-2 years left to fill specific roles. -

To be fair, in every preseason of every sport you hear guys coming off injury say this. "Healthiest I've ever been" and "best shape of my life" and all the other platitudes. Time will tell. -

I'll admit that apathy has set in for me to a certain degree so I'm a bit biased toward the negative. I think we struggle to be top 1/3 in the conference, early exit (2nd round) in NCAAT. -

Yes I'm worried because the talent on the roster is abysmal. We need 3-4 starters and 1-2 rotation players with the higher end of each of those being the best outcome. We're in a position where we need a high hit rate on the target list and, let's be honest, we're not going to get 50% of our targets. -

I'm fine with it except for the playoff games. Every other bowl game is meaningless. You going to blow your shot at the NFL by getting hurt in the Pop Tarts Bowl? If you get hurt badly enough they'll run you through the giant toaster and eat you post game in a heartbeat.
