I think we've seen the results of Crean's "point forward" experiments in the past. If he doesn't have even high school level PG skills now, it will be very difficult to develop well enough to play point at any time in his IU career.

One and done is difficult for a player on the lower end of the top 25 of their class (ask JBJ) but it is certainly possible. You have to out-play all those other kids, plus sophomores/juniors/seniors and international prospects. -

It's possible that the "I'm not planning to play overseas" statements are just a negotiating tactic to drive up contract value. If you want him, gotta lure him away from the US. -

I don't think we will ever see two bigs on the court for more than a few minutes at a time. Need to spread the floor with our shooting/driving ability and can't have two guys dragging their defender into the lane. -

Bryant is the more true center between him and Thon. Thon thinks he is KD and probably wants to be on the perimeter. -
Crean couldn't get past the Sweet 16 with a soph Cody and a junior Oladipo - he is not going anywhere with two freshmen bigs. Alaska - the traveling cat circus is always on the move. Tickets are Will Call only BUT they are half price once you find them.

What if Tom Crean created a traveling cat circus and tickets were half price? That's more likely than him winning a title of any kind next year.

People are allowed to bash the coach after the second bad year (and awful finish to the season) in a row. Nobody took you hostage and forced you to read BTB threads about Crean. There are plenty of other threads on recruiting and college bball in general.

Lol, yeah, ITH definitely has an agenda. Most of their work just seems like reprinting of press releases and AD talking points but I guess they need to keep their press pass. -

At this point, assuming Crean is staying another year, I would say Glass has hitched his wagon to Crean. That's not an enviable position. Do you really trust that guy to go out and win 25+ games next year to save both of your jobs? -
