If next season is anything like this one, I don’t see Archie making it past year 3. There better be a plan for some actual “drastic” changes this offseason and a brand new identity to accompany them.

Offense is so anemic that there doesn’t ever seem to be a game plan. Just run the weave and see if anything opens up.

Why would Jake not be returning? A guy rated that low coming out of high school certainly didn’t expect big minutes his freshman year, right? The only thing I can guess is that he’s putting in the effort day in / day out and sees low effort guys (Smith) getting all the minutes.

Why is Smith guarding Murphy? Why is Fitzner anywhere near the court? THAT is on the coaching staff.

This team is just painful to watch. Looks like they’re in a walkthrough or warm ups most of the time, moving at 70% intensity. That’s just not gonna cut it in this league. The team is either totally unprepared or unwilling to play hard.

Sheehey was my exact thought as a model for Smith. Come off the bench with some energy, make aggressive cuts to the basket for slams, crash the offensive boards. I'm giving Smith the benefit of the doubt with this statement (which he may not deserve), but it's possible the lack of effort we've seen from him is because he's tired. Coming off the bench for 20 mins a game may help to fix that issue. Davis can't go for 30-35 minutes right now so there should still be plenty of time for Smith to impact the game.

Davis had 7 assists in one of the games last week. I agree - he should absolutely be the starting 5 and Morgan at the 4. I would love to see that. Morgan at the 4 creates actual spacing since Smith's defender gives him about 10 ft of open space on the perimeter.

Has anyone been tracking the progress of Miller Time t-shirt sales? Could be a leading indicator.

How about the year he got fired? That was an abomination of a season and there are still plenty of players from that roster.
