Called a tireless recruiter in the article posted above and also read in a separate article that he has improved offenses where he has gone. If he can improve our offense and works the recruiting trail hard, then it's a home run hire for sure. Doesn't matter to me that I haven't heard of him before.

Is Evans basing this all on timing? I don't think many of the top kids start committing until after AAU ball in the normal times.

I think you meant to put TJD / Brunk in the last spot. Unless Smith built the machine from Multiplicity But I agree it seems we have 2 points, 4 wings and 4 bigs who will be competing for the minutes. Hopefully that leads to good results.

Wow! Telling it like it is! I like it. I don't know who else needs to hear this but surely there are some kids on every P5 roster who need that message loud and clear. Unless they want to play pro in Bulgaria of course.

This conference realignment is getting out of control.

I always wonder how much the coaches facilitate these transfers for the players. We had a scrimmage with Loyola a couple years ago and the coaching staffs are probably somewhat familiar with each other. I wonder if that led to a few phone calls to find Damezi a landing spot.

Would be strange to see Damezi transfer after his public statements recently. I would also hate to lose Armaan because I thought he had a very good freshman season.

Lots of noise that Blake Wesley is the best of those three guards. Anyone on here who has seen him play and can comment?

So I read that post on the other site and he followed up to clarify a bit. Says Aminu’s shooting and defense have a long way to go before they are college ready but thinks his defense will be fine eventually (athletic and long). Said no college coach is going to give heavy minutes to a guard who can’t shoot and can’t defend. not comparing him to Franklin 1:1 which would be silly but seems to think Mohammed would have a similar impact year 1. Makes more sense but I still don’t quite believe it.

Isn't he 2022? I think those are all '21 guys.

Very strange. I thought he was part of their core but it looks like his minutes went down year-over-year.
