If I recall, players (not so sure about the recruits) were also on board with the Mike Davis hiring too. Let's hope this doesn't turn out the same way.

I do think that Crean is unwilling to compromise himself or the program by making offers that he can't uphold. I am sure that it does not help with the 5* recruits as they are probably use to coaches telling them want they want to hear. Honestly, I woud rather CTC concentrate on high 4* players that will be around for a few years. Teams need that core and leadership. Not worried about next year yet, as we have this one to get through.

That is a sweet stroke. I used to have a photo of Jay Edwards that showed his form. IMO, it was probably a little better than JBJ's, but you are right, it does not get a whole lot better than that.

The D needs some...a lot...of work. Giving up 78 points and 44% FG% to a Big 10 team will get you beat more often then not.

If UK are the #2 team in the land...I like our chances...a lot. MSU's D was not that good and UK shoots 38% Briscoe and Monk are it for UK. Briscoe can't hit a shot outside of 12 feet. Would have loved to see IU play this UK team.

This is not PSU beating the Hoosiers...the Hoosiers are beating the Hooisers.

My take away from last nights game, is that this team is a team in every sense of the word. And the beauty is that they are not going to be dependent on one man (like a Frank Mason) to win games. They are going to take advantage of what the defense is giving them and if that mean JBJ leading the way, or OG or TB or RoJo or CuJo or JW or inside game or outside game...whatever, that is fine with them. Clearly they have some thing to work on, but it was game 1, so I am not too concerned yet. I am sure Crean has a plan in plcae to work on those items. Great win. Look forward to see how this team evolves. Oh yeah...and the refs have some work to do as well. Great game, but horribly refed.
