  All good points.  My point being that he is producing and Stan is not.  Either way, he should get starters minutes.

The one, well two, encouraging things from last night:   1.  Stan Robinson's play.  That kid needs to start.  2.  The Hoosiers' half court play.  While they still stand around too much for my taste, at time they were patient, moved the ball and used thier quickness to get good looks.    Let's hope that this is the turning point!

My post was not meant to bash Sheehey...I suppose that I just expect more from a Senior. 

Great showing by Evan. I think that he deserves a start against the Irish. Sheehey needs to be a leader at both ends of the court. If he does not average 10+ ppg, it will be a long Big 10 season. If they don't get the TOs under control, it will be even longer. I continue to be impressed with Luke. I think that he will be a solid player.

Too many TOs. If they keep that up, they will get murdered in Big 10 play.

I would agree that IU's zone offense is not good.  North Florida even went zone for a bit in the first half and it looked effective.  In order to beat a zone, you must have shooters running the base line; you have got to move the ball side-to-side to get the defense moving, screeners for the men running the baseline and someone flashing to the middle/free throw line.  This creates passing lanes and gaps in the zone...you beat a zone by passing not dribbling.    Of course it helps when you have some shooters to hit the outside jumper to extend the zone.  This seems to be basic.

1.  I would like to see the team take better care of the ball.  Last time out, only 11 TOs, which is an improvement, but they need to consistently get that under 10, otherwise come conference play, it will be ugly.   2.  I think that Gordon deserves a start after his performance the other night, either replacing Sheehey or Hollowell.    3.  Yogi with at least 7 assists (same as prior game).  If he can get others invloved, it will only make the team better.    Hoosiers by 22 tonight. 

Much like everyone else, I have been thinking about this a lot and if what is being reported is true is that Mallory is out with CKW recruting, then my best guess is that he is not going to be fired (I wish that I had a job that I could perform so pooerly at and still keep it!)    I think that IU will have a new DC come next year, but I think that Mallory will still be on staff and have to take a demotion to a position coach, which while not best, I could still live with, which is why he is still out recruiting.  Considering his past performance, where is the guy really going to go, D2?    The other thing being, I am not so sure that IU wants to burn the Mallory bridge.  That is my nest guess...otherwise either he has something on someone in the AD or the Administration and is threatening to expose them or Bill is paying for his salary to keep him on staff.
