We would like to go back...we have been to Germany 3 or 4 times now, it is our favorite European country, but on our travels, the Europeans always ask us if we have been to California and we have to tell them no, so we decided to hit up the west coast this year.   

If you went to the "Stuttgart Oktoberfest" in late September/early October, then you were at the Volksfest.  Stuttgart does not have an "Oktoberfest".     But yeah, we enjoyed that much more than Oktoberfest in Munich.  

So...to get this thread back on track...who thinks that if IU finishes 3rd of better in the BT regular season, Crean will get fired and why?   Personally, in my mind, there is no chance that the administration gets rid of him if that is the case, no matter how poorly they do in the BTT or NCAA.

Did Germany for 10 days last year and hit up Oktoberfest as well...it was pure chaos.    Went to Stuttgart and the Canstatter Volksfest...you ever been?  If we go back we are skipping Oktoberfest and hitting up the Volksfest instead.  More locals, not as crazy...we had a great time.

Still can't believe that UNC lost that game...but they went away from what was working for them (going inside) and started to settle for jumpers and that did them in.     I have a UNC grad in my office and he hates on Roy.  It is awesome to watch.

I wouldn't mind Jay Wright, but he is at his dream job...no way he is leaving.

Don't know if anyone else watched the Villanova - Temple game, but Crean could learn a few things from Jay Wright:   1.  The shot fake 2.  Defense - on every defensive possession, his teams feet were moving and their heads were on a swivel, finding their man and the ball.    Don't know if 'Nova is a legit #1, but they are solid.

I wouldn't look to Temple being an easy game for IU. They play good defense and turn the ball over like 3 times a game (or something crazy low like that).

I wouldn't want Bilas in B-town anyway.

Agree Hutch, everyone can point fingers, but at the end of the day, it is a team game and as a team, they did not show up today. 

OK, I can agree that the win over ND was a quality win...keep forgetting about them.    The road win at Michigan does look better after today's result over Purdue. 

The committee may not "look" at the polls, but they know.    Anyway, the point that I was trying to make was that a team like Maryland, which has been in the top 10 all season, or Michigan St. will most likely get a better seed than IU even if IU does win a share of the regular season title.  So...yeah, it does matter.    

Right now, the Hoosiers really only have one good win (vs Iowa at home) and three bad losses (Wake, UNLV, and @Penn St - all sub-.500 teams).  So I would think that an 8 seed at this point is probably right on...maybe a 7, but a 6 is doubtful.   Going forward, if IU is to really contend for the regular season title, I would think that they need to beat at least three of @Mich. St., Purdue, @Iowa and Maryland, and win out all of the others.  A road win would be a huge boost.  If they can finish 1st or 2nd in conference, I think that they could get as high as a 4, maybe a 3 if they can make a deep run or win (dreaming) the BTT.  Even if IU wins a share of the regular season title, I think that the other team(s) get a better seed, given that they have been ranked for more of the season.   Not having a good showing in Maui, the Duke loss, and the poor pre-Big 10 schedule is killing us.   

To have a chance to win this game, the Hoosiers are going to need one of those 28-0 runs.

The tournament committee will not make that distinction. 

Hate to be a realist, but not really sure that this was ever a real possibility...winning the Big 10 that is.

This is our 3rd bad loss. Wake, 10-13; UNLV,13-11; and now this.

Three game losing streak coming up. Book it.
