Scratch the above...does not look like I am going to be able to make the trip. 

Any way that we can move this, if needed?   I am seriously considering going up to Philly and plan on being there through Sunday.  If not, that's cool. 

I am decked out in cream and crimson, head to toe...and if the Hoosiers are going to Philly, so am I.

This game might just be a defining moment of his IU career. Hopefully his biggest game is still to come.

Thomas Walkup is my new favorite non-IU player.

I, like a lot of the people here, grew up watching Indiana basketball when The General was in charge.  At that time, it was my expectation, that the Hoosiers would be a top team in the Big 10 year-in, year-out, and would be in the thick of it for regular season titles (btw, I hate that I have to make this distinction) and that they would make the NCAA tournament, almost without question, and make a run, if for no other reason than Knight would out-coach most other coaches on any given day.    When Knight was fired, I knew that IU basketball would never be the same again.  I knew that I had to change my expectations.    As for this season, I believe that it has been a success, as no hoops fan can say that winning the BT regular season title, outright, is not an achievement.  It is annually one of the toughest, if not the toughest, conferences in the country, no matter the schedule.  However, given where I started, I always expect more.  For this season to be truly successful, I think that the Hoosiers must reach the Sweet 16.  I think that is a realistic expectation, especially given the talent that CTC has.  Do I think that this team has the talent to play with anyone in the country...yes; however, give the performance in the BTT (which I have looked to as a barometer of where a team is actually at), anything more than the Sweet 16 is just gravy.     Go Hoosiers!

The selection show was awful. Whoever thought up the two hour show needs to be fired.

Called it. Our poor SOS, bad losses and poor showing in the BTT killed IU.

As a fellow Hoosier in GA, this is such a good analogy.

I think that they have slipped to a 5 seed...and here's why...almost every team in the AP top 25 has had a better start to the post-season than the Hoosiers...and let's not kid ourselves, these games matter to the committee,as they are going to give the teams that are playing at their peak in the post-season, the higher seeds. I realize that the Hoosiers were playing well coming into the BTT; however, losing to a ranked team in the semi's is different that losing to an unranked team in the quarters. It is all about perception.

Oh...I am ready and prepared. I got a full keg of beer and two bottles of JW Black.

I am not going to predict any more games on this message board ever again.  Book it.

Have been saying 1st round loss since back in December...sticking by that.

It's FRIDAY!  Not sure how much work I am going to get done before noon.

I like this match up better than if IU had to play Northwestern.  Olah is a load and TB would have serious problems with him...again.   Anyway...am saying the Hoosiers start cold, close the first half strong, up maybe 5, and then come out second half, tear it open, but win by less than 10. 

Hoosiers, Illinois (what an awful game...can neither team win?), MSU and Maryland.   After only hitting one of the games yesterday, I am hoping for some improved results.  Go Hoosiers!
