So thon is considering missing a few months of possibly his only season of college so he can play high school ball a little longer with his younger brother?   Seems a bit of an odd reason.  If playing more with your younger brother is important, then just stay in college longer and he could play with Matur at IU lol.   Maybe getting all of the courses done to graduate by August is looking less and less likely???

  Not always.   It depends on the situation.  Everyone is trying to make it a black and white debate where it's either the professor's fault or the student's fault.  It's not always going to be one or the other.

  If #4 is right then #1-#3 are pretty much meaningless.   I don't see Crean leaving on his own.  He's not going to able to go to greener pastures with how IU has been doing recently and he won't leave for a lower level job just to get away from the naysayers.  Plus, coaches tend to have big egos at his level and will always think they are just around the corner from turning it around.

I don't think it matters that he sat out.  At the end of his college eligibility, he can apply for a medical redshirt but he's still technically on the team.   The year of sitting out on a transfer starts when you sign the papers to leave the school.   Otherwise, any player that has been on redshirt could just switch schools and play immediately.   If DD was going anywhere, we would have heard about it by now as he would have filled out his transfer papers a long time ago.
