Well, now we know...being in a sorority calendar leads to anger.  anger leads to hate and hate leads to the dark side.     should have seen this coming :)

They should have runningback ready to catch the ball if need be while suds is giving out the play so they can snap if someone does jump offsides

Wonder if the ref that said "f u" on live microphone got reprimanded for it.    That was pretty crazy.  I bet a good portion of the booing was actually due to sudfeld not hiking the ball when they jumped.

  Sorry, I guess my original post was confusing.  Yes, I agree with holt that he is held to a higher standard by being on the team, especially since you can't dismiss regular students from the team.   However, him acting like it is alright for him to do it because so many regular students do it is laughable.  I'm sure regular students get in trouble when caught but they have a lot less to lose.   At the end of the day, Holt would not trade places with these regular students that he wants to compare himself to...these students that are paying 6 figures over their 4 years at IU.   No one stopped Holt from being one of those students when he was kicked off the team.  

  Yes it was based on him being on the basketball team or rather on being an athlete at IU.    If he was kicked out of school, then Holt would have a point about how unfair he was treated.    Regardless, if you represent IU and getting a free ride for your athletic ability, you SHOULD be held to higher standard.

  I would bet he was warned after his first incident.  Thus, I would think he would have known he was on zero tolerance and understand the repercussions of further incidents.    From the outside looking in, it seems he had the i don't care, i'll do what i want mentality and it didn't exactly work out for him.   Can't really compare to other students.  Holt wasn't dismissed from IU, he was just dismissed from the team.  

  Sounds like he still doesn't think he did anything wrong.  Just thinks he is in trouble because he was held to a higher standard due to being on the basketball team.    It's still breaking the law regardless of whether or not other students get away with it.

of course it would further his education..     he'd get his education while still having enough time to play video games, go out drinking, hook up with chicks and anything else he can think of in the excess of spare time that is now afforded to him.
