As mentioned, Lynch inherited a better team when he started and got to a bowl game with Hep's recruits.  The team dropped like a rock the next year.   Lynch introduced IU fans to losing to MAC schools, never scoring in the 2nd half and getting humiliated by Wisconsin and other big programs.   We may not have the record but Wilson has us scoring in the second half of games and playing good teams closely.  We've been giving lots of really good teams all they can handle.  Wins will come under Wilson.

That was the issue with going with a 3-4 DC with personnel brought in for a 4-3.  It's going to take a little longer than normal to get the players you need for the new system.   Patience is a virtue.

I wouldn't get your hopes up too much but great we are even in the discussion.   However, Rivals only has him as a 3 star???  Not that I would turn away a 3 star but maybe Cooper was just being nice to his buddy by calling him a 5 star.

This offseason is likely to be a major one for coaching changes.  Looks like USC, Georgia and LSU will be looking for new coaches and start a chain reaction of coaches changing venues.  PU might be looking elsewhere too if they lose to IU this weekend.   If IU can win and go bowling (and presumably keep Wilson safe), maybe we can grab some of those recruits that are caught in the middle of the coaching carousel and need to find new homes.  

That stinks.  I was in the Hundred from '99 to '04 and the whole band went to WL on the years we played at PU.

  Sounds like a mom who thinks sonny boy should get to start regardless of how he plays.   Guessing he grew up in the no rules household lol.

He should do a 25 school list and starting dec 1, remove a school each day and finally pick one on christmas :)

We had a better 1-2 punch in the frontcourt with Zeller/Watford than we do now I think, especially offensively.    Depth overall is probably better now but individually no one can match Zeller or Oladipo.   I think we might struggle too much against bigger teams like Purdue to be a big threat this year.   For now, I'd give an edge to 12-13.

doesn't zags always predict we lose the recruit?   I didn't think the article was that concrete about Kegler going to MSU.
