My opinion of PG as a person has dropped quite a bit over the past year.   I don't think Ginger will get canned or step down.  I foresee a drawn-out investigation and some underling at the NFL offices taking one for the league.  I have no doubt he truly knew about this latest tape but I'm also guessing he was careful to create enough plausible deniability to avoid the hook. 

Not a banner day for the B1G so far today.  But Purdue sucking, well it warms my cold little heart. 

Defense looks better.  The offense actually frustrated me above all else.  Obviously we dominated on the ground but didn't translate it properly into points.  My biggest frustration was the number of passing players where Nate tucked & ran the ball.  Just seemed really odd, like our receivers were not capable of getting open consistently against Indiana State?   I did enjoy the smashmouth running approach though.  Coleman is beastly.  I think his number of touches worked out just about right, sure you could have given him more plays but save some bullets and wear & tear for more important games.

  At that point, RMK had not advanced past the opening weekend of the NCAA tournament since 1994.  Does that mean I think Mike Davis did some amazing coaching job to get that team that far?  No.  But I think those kids were highly motivated to prove a point.  I mean they basically threatened to transfer if Mike did not get the job.  So you are talking about a team that WANTED to play for the new coach and I think the whole fiasco added a bit more motivation in some manner. 

I think there is merit to the idea.  ID's can be checked and bracelets/stamps issued to prevent congestion at the concession stands.  And as far as the fear of wildly drunk people in the stands, as others have mentioned it could cut down on people massively pre-drinking in the tailgate to prepare for a sober 3 hours (or 1.5 hours for people who watch one half & leave).  People are showing up drunk anyways under the current status quo.  Plus I'm sure the beers sold in the stadium will be expensive enough to prohibit too much excess.  We aren't talking about $1 beer Saturdays at Memorial Stadium here. 

I would not expect much of a reaction either way.

Tom certainly has a lot of hits as a recruiter but let's not pretend he doesn't miss sometimes.  Trotting out Vic/Will/Wade/whatever doesn't make the man's judgments infallible.  I think it is intellectually dishonest to hand-wave away any criticism.  

His grade issues obviously were publicized, I really do wonder on what basis he was ever announced as having an OV here.  Was CTC looking for some kind of academic appeal that fell through? 

  I'm not a racing aficionado but I've heard similar things, that you have to punch the throttle to steer those particular cars.

  I wore both #13 and #31 during my brief stint of intramural basketball at IU.  Sadly, they did not retire either number.  I think my epic 2ppg average deserved more but I digress.  :cheese:

Not only does the kid get out of his car but he walks almost dead center into the middle of the track.  That is insanely dangerous.  I did watch the video and maybe I don't follow racing enough (barely watch it at all) but I couldn't really tell if Tony gunned his engine or not (although I've seen that stated here and elsewhere).  Tony's liability here will be based on whether or not he intentionally gunned it to scare the kid or throw dirt on him or whatever.  I don't know how you prove that though.  If it could be proven, then I reckon it qualifies as reckless behavior and some kind of charge could be made.  But I definitely don't think he intended to hit the kid.  My initial impression is this is just a horrible accident.  Might end up facing a civil suit though.   I'm glad he isn't racing today, I don't think that would have been a good look at all. 

CKW is building a solid foundation here. 

Larry Brown.  But I wouldn't limit it to best NCAA coach, I'd say he is one of the best basketball coaches period when you look at his entire resume.  The obvious con here is that he never stays in one place long but man, he has taken on many challenging coaching jobs and performed turnarounds just about anywhere under the sun. 

I guess the best you can hope for is that it is a clean break without any ligament damage.  So awful to look at though.  Seeing that pic once, that is more than enough for me.  Such a grotesque looking injury. 

From what I've read in multiple places, those guys on the show don't even work there anymore.  They are paid actors at this point.  On any non-filming day, it is basically a gift shop selling Pawn Stars merchandise.

  Haha.  I remember watching Rod play for the Mad Ants and every game I saw, he was chucking bricks.  I mean I like him too but...dude was extremely streaky!

In regard to Noah Vonleh, I believe he did expand and grow his game as the season progressed.  We simply did not get him the ball enough.  His ability to deliver from the perimeter was a pretty big change of pace from a kid who many worried could not even hit a free throw based on exhibition games. 

  Who are these coaches developing NBA lottery pick bigs from scratch?  Any specific examples?  Most lottery pick bigs are pretty much projected to be that kind of player, regardless of what school they choose.  They are just forced to play one year of college basketball based on the current rules.

All I can say is I hope this team is working HARD and getting some good chemistry flowing during this summer.  This tweet definitely makes me raise an eyebrow a bit.  Not so much at Crean although I can see where OP is going there but I want badly to see these kids come together as a much more cohesive roster in 14-15. 

Good for LBJ, I like this decision.  But at the same time it sure makes the Central Division tougher for the Pacers.  See now Lance has to re-sign in Indy, more chances to mess around with LBJ now!  :laugh:

Improve as the season goes on and play like a team that you feel like everyone is buying in to each other and the coaching staff.  Get better, finish strong.  Make the NCAA tournament.
