Sloppy but I still enjoyed the game.  It is fun watching Johnson & JB2 in the back-court.  Hanner has looked improved and fun to watch too.  Yogi's turnovers....woof!  Some really ugly ones!  Nice to see Hartman able to contribute off the bench.  It will be interesting to see Troy, Stan & Emmit integrate into this rotation. 

We already went down the failed $EC head coach route.  See DiNardo, Geri.   

I thought Wynn should have had that one, I dunno.

Rutgers went full 'IU football' mode to end that half.  Glad to see us on the plus side of that scenario for once.  :)

Okay the opening onside kick drew me in.  Defense playing solid again.  Diamont looks less terrible.  If we can carry this defensive progression into next season and get the offense back on track...that would be a cool combination.

I hate to say it, but my attention will be focused on the big $EC game.  I'll DVR this game and channel flip over in case we can actually score any points though.   :no: 

I enjoyed watching that game.  I really wasn't expecting anything close to a 50 point beating.

  Heck OP is aiming low.  I bet that Nick Saban is bored and itching for a challenge.  Indiana football would be right up his alley!

  It is simply an unbelievable story.  So sad.  He comes off as an incredibly strong young man.  I can't even imagine dealing with all of that loss.

I feel bad for the kid, obviously the FSU boosters are not paying him enough money on the side.  Poor guy has to resort to shoplifting crab legs and shaving points.  :(   ;)

  Our passing game felt out of sync even with Nate in there.  I was questioning our ability to go bowling before he got injured.  I don't put all of that on Nate though, It seemed to me that our receivers were not doing a great job of getting open.  Just based on the number of times Nate had to pull the ball down and scramble.

  I look at it this way, need to crawl before you walk.  We need to compete for the B1G on a more consistent basis before we can even worry about competing for Final Fours and banners.  Winning the conference, to me, means we have a team that is capable of competing for more.  Whether they actually do it or not, I go back to my crap-shoot comment.    So, it isn't so much that we have only won the conference 1 time in 6 years.  It is the fact that we have only even been in contention for the conference title once in that time-span. 

  Fort Wayne is taking over this board!  w00t!   It was funny though, look I have always wore my gear and openly talked about IU hoops at work but suddenly that season, boy a ton of people I never knew were IU fans were talking to me suddenly.  Heck even the parking garage attendant would hit up on the way in because I have IU plates.  lol

I interact with quite a few IU basketball fans at my workplace and honestly, none of them are solidly behind Crean.  They have a lot of questions about his ability to get the job done.  Only maybe two of them are in full "fire the coach" mode though.
