Disappointing end to a disappointing season.  Yeah yeah NIT blah blah.  I'm very disappointed that this team never really showed any consistent improvement.

  He was the one who started the thread on the other site.  Still can't figure out why that got deleted but from what I understand Clockwork Ken tends to operate that way.  If you are going to advertise yourself as the open and honest forum then you probably should not be deleting threads with no explanation.  Just my opinion.  

  I agree that when guys leave, they are looking for a better fit or more playing time.  Transfers happen, it isn't necessarily a negative reflection on the coach.  Which is why I found it humorous that the other site decided to delete this particular story. 

  That and our team isn't well equipped to beat a zone anyways.

Today Purdue clinched dead freaking last in the Big Ten.  12th place all to themselves!  Congrats to Matt Painter on holding PU hostage for a contract extension a couple years or so ago (when Mizzou came calling) and now you have failed to even make the NIT two years in a row!  Will the PUkes head back to the CBI again to defend their title...oh wait they couldn't even win the CBI last year my bad. 

We have shown we can beat anybody in the conference when we put together two halves of basketball (well lost twice to MSU but competed with them really well in East Lansing).  It is all or nothing next week in Indy. 

Morgan is going to work us over if we don't change this lineup!  He is killing us on the glass!

Seems odd to not start Noah.  He has only missed two games so it isn't like he should be out of shape or have that much rust.

I don't really have a positive vibe about this game but I'll certainly be watching.  It would be a pretty big win for a quick shot of momentum heading into the tournament. 

Maybe UK fans will finally realize Calipari is more concerned about being a NBA prospect factory then building a consistent championship contender.  I know he did win one but that was a perfect storm of things breaking right for him.  They had just enough returning experience plus a class of fairly unselfish yet highly rated kids that came together to make that title happen.  I think last season and this season is a more realistic sample of the kind of results Cal is going to get with this madness of practically starting over each season.

  It is the same that it has always been.  I started posting on sports message boards in 1995 or 1996...the original IndyStar boards did not even require registration, anyone could post under any name they saw fit for any given post.  RMK fan versus anti-RMK fan was very much a thing at that time leading up to Bobby's firing.  Of course the dynamic was different, obviously RMK had an established track record.  But the anti-RMK sentiment was based on the game passing him by and the time being right for a chance.   During the Mike Davis era/fiasco, whichever description you prefer, you had the dynamic of people who would defend the existing coach to death versus those who did not buy in.  Although honestly a lot of the MD debate in his early days revolved around RMK loyalists against people who wanted to give the new coach a chance.   One of the unfortunate side affects of the Internet in general is that people start to take their own opinion too seriously and they start rooting for their own opinion just to have the chance to tell the other guy/gal that hey, I called it and in your face!  I'm right and you are wrong!  Even if we root for the same freaking team!  But...it is the way it has been for a long time.  The advent of the Tom Crean era at IU did not start the trend, it simply is the way the internet works. 

I don't have anything nice to say so...I'm not going to say it.  Time for some Planets vs Zombies Garden Warfare!

Hopefully Alabama keeps the bleeding going tonight.  The Tide's record is not impressive but they have had some fairly competitive games with teams such as Duke, Wichita State and Florida this season.  Never know!
