  You are answering you own questions.  No it didn't deserve a new thread, it easily fits under at least one existing thread.  It is a troll spamming his agenda over and over.  It isn't going to end until...well..you know.

  Suspend them for the ENTIRE non-con schedule?  Over this?  Eh, no thanks.  I do think Hanner's suspension was too short but over-punishing other players as some kind of make up for it isn't going to solve the problem.  If the rumors in the other thread about failed drug tests are true, I think consistency of punishment may be the biggest issue.  Don't play favorites, punish everyone on the same basis.  I think somebody amongst the players needs to step up as a leader too but I don't know who that would be at this point.  My hope has been Yogi would be that guy.  Otherwise I'm not sure who else to look to.

Drive & kick for sure.  Our guys need to really work on those ball-handling skills to get by the defender then make the correct decision.  The middle shouldn't be as clogged anymore since we presumably will have the shooters to keep the defense honest and spread out.

Louisville or Maryland, not a tough choice imo.  Goes to a higher profile program while avoiding the awkwardness of competing directly against his former team in-conference.

  I heard that rumor a week ago from a guy at work who is not even a Pacers fan so whatever is out there, it is definitely spreading.  True or not, hell if I know.  Also I heard a rumor that there was a threesome with a groupie that got...awkward.  Haven't heard any specific names attached to either rumor at this point.    But I'll say this, I almost grant these kinds of rumors credibility right now because I struggle to find any rational reasons for this implosion.  And to me, whatever it is, it definitely centers around Roy Hibbert.  This dude is just way off mentally right now. 

  I like Rick and Thibs is definitely top-of-the-line.  As much as I hate the Bulls that is tough to admit.

  Doc Rivers eh?  Go look up his career numbers as a coach.  In his first 7 full seasons (not counting the year he was fired for a 1-10 start) he missed the playoffs 3 times and never advanced past the first round in those other 4 seasons.  Strangely enough, his coaching career took a rather sharp turn upward once he had a boatload of superstar talent dropped onto his roster, then suddenly he was an amazing coach I guess?  It is a players league and while I'm not going to argue that coaches do not matter, the talent definitely does matter.  The best teams generally win NBA playoff series, it isn't March Madness.  Doc Rivers doesn't turn water into wine.  He needs the horses just like any other NBA coach.  I don't think any coach would have gotten much better playoff results with the teams Woodson coached.  He had some good, not great teams that had a definite ceiling. 

I think Woodson's overall NBA record as a head coach is pretty good considering the teams that he had to work with.  He wasn't coaching championship caliber teams in ATL and NYK.  Well, maybe the Knicks had delusions of grandeur last season but the Pacers took care of that.  I think he will rebound to another NBA job.

  Yeah but I think he had a stronger starting point than Dane.  Dane took over right at the time that IPFW transitioned to D1.  IPFW's overall record pretty much improved every single season under Fife. 

I've been thinking about it and as far as coaching trees go, I think if you feel the need to follow a particular coaching tree then you may as well focus on the Coach K tree.  Coach K is definitely a product of the RMK tree.  Chris Collins is a guy I'm curious to see how his career progresses.  He did some impressive work in his first season at Northwestern imo even if the final record was not great.   My eternal dark-horse candidate as far as directly from the RMK tree always has been, and always will be, Keith Smart.  I think the dude can flat out coach.  When he coached the Fort Wayne Fury, I thought he did good work.  At the NBA level, he has been an assistant for a number of years.  Every time he gets a sniff at a head coaching job it is as an interim coach on bad teams (Cleveland, Golden State).  I honestly feel like he got a raw deal in GS, he got fired because the new ownership wanted "their guy"...and of course now they are ready to fire Mark Jackson too despite MJax consistently improving the team.  Dysfunctional franchise imo. 

There is something really rotten going on behind the scenes with this team.  Whatever it is, obviously there isn't the maturity and leadership in place to overcome it.  May as well bench both Hibbert and GHill at this point.  Those dudes have been worthless.  Need more teamwork and less hero mode play all around.  I'd almost rather lose to Atlanta than Chicago and have to hear about it from my Bulls friends.  I know that is total LOSER talk but...I have zero faith in this team even advancing one round right now.
