Regardless of why Cody went 4th overall, none of us can say that Crean didn't have an impact on Cody's surprising rise in the draft. Cody and Vic both benefitted from CTC. In the article, the OCR stated they were doing this in order to increase transparency and awareness which I agree with. But shouldn't they just release the list of schools that have received complaints from and are now investigating? This issue is terrible and transparency can go a long way to fixing it, but mishandling of information can be extremely damaging to the reputation and image of organizations who are fully compliant. I was never an NBA fan but I decided that whichever team Vic went to I would become a fan of and start following. I keep up with him and his progress. Cody I check in on. Noah seemed to quit at the end of the year. I just didn't feel like he wanted to be a Hoosier by the end of it. I also understand he was hurting and needed to protect his draft stock.
