Open Scholarship spots
Mo was on scholarship for four years and got his degree. Had a new baby that was in DC, and in theory wanted to move back home to be near family. FWIW, even though schollys are renewable annually, I happen to be a proponent of keeping good kids on scholly until they get a degree. After four years and a degree paid for by the taxpayers of the State of Indiana, if a basketball decision is made to not extend the scholly for a fifth year, I'm ok with that. That goes for Mo Creek and Matt Roth too. Do you agree?
If you commit to the player the time it takes to finish a degree completely paid for by the state, you've given them all they were promised IMO. The Mo Creek situation made sense to me. I'm a little less aware of the full situation with Roth. Wasn't official word that there were no hard feelings, but a lot of rumors of bad blood? 3. http://www.oregonlive.com/ducks/index.ssf/2014/05/damyean_dotson_suspension_foll.html Absolutely horrendous. Oregon wasn't even on the report released and then published. That program is in serious trouble. I also question the Department of Educations report now. Sent from my place of advanced, analytical thinking: the toilet.

B1G tourney headed to DC in 2017
It won't be long before the Whole tournament is in NY or DC ANNUALLY. It's sad, but money doesn't lie. I'll enjoy it while it's in Indy. Atleast some east coast Hoosiers fans will get a chance to see a game for cheaper. Maybe they will be louder than the crowds at BLF. I've always been disappointed with the crowds here anyway.
I'm moving to NYC and I have a ton of friends who have all graduated and now work in NYC and DC. Hoosier nation travels and I know I'll be there. This could really help our East Coast recruiting. Sent from my place of advanced, analytical thinking: the toilet.

    NBA Draft: Noah Vonleh

Regardless of why Cody went 4th overall, none of us can say that Crean didn't have an impact on Cody's surprising rise in the draft. Cody and Vic both benefitted from CTC. To what degree, I have no clue. But I'm sure neither of them are upset with the results. Sent from my place of advanced, analytical thinking: the toilet.
Charlie, Statement one: "At least I kept mine in a single thread and didn't do it every damn day." You were all over the place and even if you did "keep it in one damn thread" does that in any way make your behavior acceptable? No Statement two: "You and a few other posters seem to think that you are better than every other poster just because you see things differently than them." I can't speak for others but I in no way think I'm better than every other poster just because I see things differently. You should try not speaking for others as well. It just doesn't work very well. Saying you're dead wrong about something does not mean I think I'm superior to you. You made one false statement about your posting style followed by another false statement about my thought processes. Truly, if you believe either of those you are delusional on your statements. You were all over the place with your posting and you have no idea what goes on in my head. Your deductive reasoning skills are often manifested in your posting. Think about it. NBA Draft: Noah Vonleh
I have no agenda...I am not sure what there is to gain from a message board. I am not on any other and haven't really looked around. I am a professional. You can take the info like it or not. I felt a passion when I landed here and I thought people would like to know some of the "stuff" that is getting in the way of winning. I felt the same frustration. I live here. There is a lot that goes on behind closed doors. Remember, CTC could sell umbrellas in a drought. It is a complicated situation that can't begin to be explained in a few paragraphs. But if you can take the pieces good and bad you will finish the puzzle by the end if next year. You should have a better picture. There are many who feel glad to get the chance to play for IU and Coach Crean, and happily move on, and/or never say anything. My point is when you have the ability and all the pieces ..you realize there is something wrong when you don't get the job done. (Not just once but a few times.) Unfortunately, not many of the players buy the umbrellas .. If you get my drift. In the gym
I believe all he is requesting is that instead of saying "there are many who hate Crean" or "even Cody was unhappy", it'd be appreciated if you stated specifics. Cody being unhappy at IU seems very odd to me as he chose to come back his sophomore year even when he was being projected as a lottery pick after his freshman year. (2016) C Thon Maker
I'm giving Crean some big props on this one... don't hate ha. offering a scholly to his brother is smart. They only had moved to the US in 2010 i saw, so they most likely have no major ties with any certain program or city. and no meddling parents (lyles). I'm assuming that the brothers being close to each other in college is important, IMO. go to same high school, only one year apart... playing together in ncaa is definitely something they will discuss. we'll see about the one and one, too early. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners
When I saw that we offered the brothers at the same time, I also thought that Crean was pulling out all his "moves" to land this guy. Very smart to offer his brother as well. Close bond. Sent from my place of advanced, analytical thinking: the toilet.

  15. In the article, the OCR stated they were doing this in order to increase transparency and awareness which I agree with. But shouldn't they just release the list of schools that have received complaints from and are now investigating? This issue is terrible and transparency can go a long way to fixing it, but mishandling of information can be extremely damaging to the reputation and image of organizations who are fully compliant. NBA Draft: Noah Vonleh

I was never an NBA fan but I decided that whichever team Vic went to I would become a fan of and start following. I keep up with him and his progress. Cody I check in on. Noah seemed to quit at the end of the year. I just didn't feel like he wanted to be a Hoosier by the end of it. I also understand he was hurting and needed to protect his draft stock. Different circumstances. I still appreciate that he picked IU. Sent from my place of advanced, analytical thinking: the toilet.
IU is in his current TOP 8. It's nitpicking, but I feel that is a lot different than Final 8. Final to me tells other schools to stop recruiting. Top 8 says go for it!
Good lord you are really nitpicking his wording. He actually used the term "Elite 8" which, in CBB terms, is the final 8 teams standing and no one else has the chance to win. :) Sent from my place of advanced, analytical thinking: the toilet.
