IU Men's Soccer vs Xavier - NCAA Rd 2

Big ups to JGray for getting it on the air. This should be a great opener for the team. As long as they put the ball in the net, their defense should be able to ensure advancement

Wilson on the hot seat according to an idiot

Nobody is looking at KW as being on the hot seat. Just trying to stir up rabble in B1G country
  6. Just scrolling through Twitter, when HMP tweets out an Instagram photo saying goodbye to PJ. Anyone have anything to confirm what this is? Is he leaving for summer, or leaving for good?   Here is a link to the Instagram post: http://instagram.com/p/pzLROtQHxW/

    #USMNT - 2014 World Cup

Like CCG said, JK is optimistic about his return. I wouldn't expect to see him on Tuesday unless he really starts to train. Running around the pitch is one thing, but making cuts and playing on/off the ball are crucial to have an impact.

It's official (kinda): Osterman says his old AAU coach told him that he has left the program   Edit: Albers now has confirmed the same thing

    #USMNT - 2014 World Cup

Newest update: a Belgian right-back is ruled out for the rest of the Cup after breaking his ankle. Not the biggest loss, but its leaving our opponents grasping for straws on defense, which really works in our favor.

    #USMNT - 2014 World Cup

Everything I've heard today says Jones is fine to play barring something coming up in training.    Also, that Kompany might not be fit to play as he is struggling with a groin injury... Would be huge for the US if he didn't see the pitch

Going into this, I knew Spain wouldn't be as they were, but still, this is borderline embarrassing....

Seriously, who else is watching this Netherlands-Australia match? Absolutely insane, and perfectly on par for what this whole event has been so far.

Yes, yes, so I spaced about a game. Forgive the young gun. :P

    #USMNT - 2014 World Cup

Well, Belgium just escaped what could have been a very embarrassing defeat to Algeria.   First round complete. Plenty of drama and excitement. Bring on the second round. Can't wait to see what's in store.

    #USMNT - 2014 World Cup

At the time of their first game, they only had 13-14 players signed. Since then, they have added more, including a loan from Montreal that has come up big, along with a forward that had been away playing for the U-20s of the US.

    #USMNT - 2014 World Cup

Well, at the beginning of those games, they could barely field a team, much less hold a practice that would help them build chemistry. Time will tell, but I would guess that they see more success in the fall season now that they have more pieces

    #USMNT - 2014 World Cup

The reasoning I see for LD being left off is not only his sabbatical, but just the fact that him and Klinsmann don't see eye to eye. Never have, never will.   Also, for the longest time LD was seen as the glue that held the national team together, but that is no longer the case. That title belongs to Bradley now.

Indy Eleven - Thoughts, Opinions, Banter

I ended up being able to go to the game on Saturday. What an atmosphere. 11,000+ packed that tiny stadium and rocked it. Sure, it ended in a tie, but that is huge when you think this team hasn't been playing together very long, and their opponent was the runner-up of the league last year. Excited to see what will come of this team.

Indy Eleven - Thoughts, Opinions, Banter

You are correct in the Brazilian, Kleberson. He has played for Manchester Utd and has also won a World Cup (2002). I know that the ultimate goal of the NASL is to provide competition for MLS. Most will view it as a different tier, and may end up as such, but I've heard the ceiling is to have them on the same level.
