Not a bad first half. Yeah, I'd like a lead but they overcame some big KU runs. I'd say we have an advantage on the boards, would like to see more interior play. Wayyy to quick with the 3's, I mean some really bad shot selection. We are definitely in this. OG I'd like to see him with the ball more and Rojo n JBJ need to score. What a great year of Indiana basketball! I personally have to marvel at the guts and obvious hard work this special group of young men showed this season. This loss will sting for a while, but for me, it won't be due to not winning a championship or just finally advancing beyond the sweet 16. It is because I loved watching this group play together. They were exciting, and hard nosed, infuriating at times and I was not ready to stop watching. Opposing teams were afraid to play IU toward the end. That is street cred. We had the toughest draw in the whole tournament imo. Played 2 great games before running into some bad luck. Injuries hurt this team badly but there was always someone to fill in. I know many are upset with another sweet 16 loss. I'm upset too. That tells me IU is relevant again. That tells me IU is going past the 16 very soon.

Not saying the results would be different given how UNC can't miss, but I would really have liked to play these guys full strength. Just to much to ask.

I say Rojo had one of his finest games this season. I'll take Rojo and Yogi to stifle The vaunted KU and UNC backcourts.

Troy had a decent game. Rebounded well. Made some good Troy plays. The only thing is, I'm somewhat dissapointed with his play in the final 3-4 minutes. He was clearly on a mission to "get his". After such a great team win where no one had a problem getting highlights because the team played un-selfish, I felt Troy played selfish. You saw the result of that style of play. Troy would be the first to tell you, he doesn't need to do that.

Man, bottle this effort and use it all the way to Houston. Having Rojo back is soooo good. That kid had a hell of a game after the layoff. OG.....You sir, are one HELL, of a ball player. Congratulations to the entire team. I loved every second. Oh, and Yogi goes 20 and 10....light evening.

I can overlook Chattanooga all I want. I don't play basketball. IU wins this fairly easy. I saw Chattanooga play in their tournament, wasn't big or fast. Defensively they were tight but wasn't playing Ferrell and Williams. The Kentucky battle comes down to turnovers and who shoots it better. Under 12 turnovers, we r right there with a chance at the end. Over 12, well, warm up the bus.

Kentucky better concentrate on that first game just as much as IU has to.

With this draw there is not much danger of playing down to the competitions level. Can we play up on a neutral floor? No one in the country is picking IU in the 16 but us. That could be an advantage for us. I say we go out and ruin 7 million brackets next week. It's tough, but possible. We all knew we'd have to play a 1 seed eventually or another equally tough team earlier. Shouldn't matter if it's right away. Get by UNC and I believe we can walk into the final 4.

I believe we make the sweet 16. The team I saw today was not final 4 ready. Then again, that was not our team. Key injuries forced some "strange" lineups today. I really think we needed a win today if only to get Rojo back to game ready. Hope he is practicing full speed. Morgs needed rest. Burton? Wha? Anyway, I think Crean has to have a s16 or better. A loss in the opening weekend, and I suspect people to re-light the boilers on the hot seat.

like usuall, I've been making excuses to all the Wisky fans (I'm from Madison,Wi.) about why we botched another tournament game we were heavily favored in. Except this year I was actually at the tourney, and was talking smack after they got their Nebrasskicked. All day on Facebook man, brutal. Anyway, that's what I've been pushing on the Wisky fans...Burton and Niego? Why??? It's not a great excuse for a loss because they didn't lose it, but was that our best lineup? I really don't think Burton needed to see the court in a game that close. Niego either. All due respect to those two. This was too important.

Man, I can't get over it. That was in the bag. These tickets were really expensive. I can't give tomorrow's full session away and I'm not staying. I'll never do this again. Good luck nxt week.
