He is right. In a way. The Nebraska road win was meaningful as it was our only win on the road. Meaningful unless that is our only one when the season ends. I too believe we need at least 1 more. Dont let Nebraska be the the only true road win of the season. Looking at the remaining schedule. We could be really close to a bubble team. Dont want to have a committee say "Indiana had just 1..Nebraska, same team everyone else beat too.

I think the Nebraska win is certainly not meaningless. Prior to it, Indiana did not have a single true road win on its resume. Without one, throw the quad stuff out the window. I believe 6 of our 8 makes came in the first half. Water eventually finds its level. It is not sustainable for a team who has struggled to make even 25% from distance to be attempting 26. That’s way too many, wide open or not. Tonight a few went in that saved our bacon. Most nights though, we’re going to need to limit those attempts to 15 or less. For us, the three point attempt is a turnover. Good on Hunter and franklin for stepping up and knocking a couple in, but allowing Smith, Hunter, Franklin and Thompson to amass 12 of 26 attempts is not a formula for success in most cases. Nice win on the road. Positives: took a punch and kept coming. Erased an early deficit with ball movement, patience, and shooting. Great work on the boards. Dominant there again. Another really good showing by Joey Brunk, and Justin Smith. Hunter is beginning to feel it. I still feel he is being mis-used. Too perimeter oriented. Like to see him drive the bucket similar to what Smith was doing. I feel he’s more of a ball player than Justin. Also, props to Arman Franklin.
