I felt at the time that the backboard carom was intentional by Iowa. I thought it brilliant in theory if that was the case. Iowa’s positioning made it look like that’s what they were looking for. (Their 2nd time this season) Iowa beats ranked Purdue Loses to unranked Minnesota 105-95 Illinois ranked #5 in the nation beats #9 Duke Loses its next game to unranked bottom feeder Missouri. Shall I go on? Cause those are just this season. It’s not even close to all of them either. Honestly it happens so often in this conference that I feel bad that a stats guy like yourself doesn’t know something so simple about his favorite conference. I hear what y’all are saying on this subject. I get it, trust me. A big resume building win is negated in part if you follow it up with a loss at Northwestern. I’m just not sure that you can rake the guys across the coals for losing that game against Rutgers. They were in that game and lost. Let’s not act like IU is the only team Rutgers has beaten though. Great win. So important now to back it up with another. Frank with a silky smooth shot from the wing. Loved that they didn’t take the TO there. Probably won the game. Big 3 from Rob when we needed it the most. If you’re going to treat that kid like **** the entire game, you better step up now too. Pulling Lander for Rob in the final quarter was absolutely the right decision. He HAD to be on the floor defensively. The freshmen played exactly the right amount.
