    Open Scholarship spots

I would unless there was an attitude problem or something. cutting a kid loose when he has worked his butt off through injuries and in the classroom just seems wrong to me and i guess that's where we have a difference of opinion. i don't think Knight would ever have done that. seems selfish and shady. kind of thing a backstabber would do, imo. i think its low and that's my biggest beef with Coach Crean. i don't care if other schools/coaches do it. this is IU.

not really. i think if they thought Creek would be near the same scorer he was as a freshman then he'd have still been at IU.

Best Pure Shooters All-Time @ IU

There have been many but if I had to pick the best it's Alford.

    The Future

who's going to be our post player next season? i can't imagine Noah comes back when he's a projected lottery pick. why would he take the chance to get his half dozen or so shots a game when he could be making millions? how's his stock going to raise playing in this offense? i'm going to be surprised if we see Hollowell, Perea, or Jurkin next season. plus lose Gordon. too much turnaround every year to get any kind of consistency or chemistry, imo.
  9. IU 63 PU 72   Purdue will probably play their best game of the year and it appears like the wheels are falling off of our wagon. It could really change things for the better if we can somehow pull it off though. Pretty evenly matched teams, but on their court with them really looking for payback after the past few seasons we thumped them pretty good. Hope its a close game. I don't think I can handle a blowout loss to Purdue.

    IU vs. Wisky Post-Game Thread!

Beating Wisconsin was the last monkey we needed to get off our backs. I'm not a fan of storming the court, but I understand why they did in this particular situation. Willing to not make a big deal about it, but hope these younger fans start handling success with a little more maturity from now on. This is Indiana, we should expect to win at home regardless of who we are playing.

What makes us IU fans so hard to please?

as far as coaching goes, there is no replacement for Bob Knight, especially not the pre-1995 Knight. it's not Alford and it's not Crean. i know we're young and all that, and lost a ton of talent and leadership from last season, but i'm just not convinced that Crean's style is ever going to garner much success in the B1G. You have to have bruisers to win in the B1G, imo. if you can't be physical and tough, then it's very hard to win unless you have 2 lottery picks and multiple shooters on your team. defense and toughness is what wins in this conference, we don't have enough of either. hard to win with finesse and a bunch of wings that can't shoot. we aren't physically tough as a team and we aren't mentally tough at all. make stupid mistakes over and over again. you cannot play sloppy fast paced ball and win at this level. teams are just too good nowdays. if you have Kentucky talent you can get by with it, but not with the talent we have.

    Another reason to hate Calipari

Bet Cal never plays another game at UNC now either. Slimy coward is all he is, imo.
