No. It happened on Facebook and Twitter. Go Hoosiers! Keep calm and hate Purdue!

    Future Opponents

I see us being 3-0 going in, than we play MSU and that is where the true test begins in Big Ten play. We don't have BGSU and the SEC doesn't want us playing Mizzou anymore it seems, so this could either be a good or long season. Sent from my SM-T230NU using BtownBanners mobile app

That's what I am saying. ND has always been the elite of the state. They are the #2 most winning team of all time. I am just saying that they had no reason to attack IU fans, but they did. I was just trying to think as to why they would. IU recruits on a local level. ND has alumni from all over the world. Go Hoosiers! Keep calm, and hate Purdue!
  4. I know this is last season, but it just goes to show how much the team has improved over the past couple years. This is Zander Diamont's TD run vs Ohio State last season. I hope we see more of this, not just against OSU, but in general. Go Hoosiers! Keep calm, and hate Purdue!

    College Football Thread

So last night after ND lost to Texas 50-47, it seems that some their fan base is feeling threatened by IU's success. They lashed out at IU football fans, and were going on a tirade about how we were not a football school, and how little brother is better than us (which explains why we have the bucket, right?), and talked about their 25-2 record against IU football, which they haven't played since 1991. I guess if they feel they need to use the 25 record to help their cause,n they haven't won a championship since a year after IU basketball did, so their argument is invalid there. Fact is, IU is becoming a better team. The coaching staff is much better, and our players are getting more of where they need to be. IU may never gain national respect, but we know that soon enough, the team can be a tough Big Ten contender, and Big Ten teams know that they can't sleep on IU. It about costed OSU big time last year. I think that is what ND may be feeling also, is that IU can be taking some of their talent, because the academic standards aren't as stringent as ND's are. When you think about it, soon enough, a player can play for IU, and have every bit as good of a collegiate career as he could at ND, and go to the NFL with success, just like several IU football players have as of late. Go Hoosiers! Keep calm, and F Purdue!

You know, I brought this up earlier. ND fans have gotten so salty about the loss, that they are now attacking IU football fans. I guess they must feel threatened.[emoji23] Sent from my SM-G900V using BtownBanners mobile app

  9. I know we are traditionally a basketball school, but we had much promise last season, before Nate got hurt. The win at Missouri was a huge moral booster to that point. While I am glad we have the bucket, and sure we will after this season, it sometimes just isn't enough. I am ready too see the guys go bowling. In the last 20 years, IU has only went once, in 2007. This season, I see us having a pretty decent chance, barring any injuries. I think IU turns some heads. I say we go 8-4 at best, and 6-6 at worse. As usual, we will probably lose a game or 2 we should win, but may get lucky and win a big game or 2. Where do you see us going? GO IU!
  10. Had to get the attention of anyone interested....Hoosiers is up next on the ENCORE West movie channel. Got my DVR set up.

    Hoosiers...the greatest basketball movie ever!

I will after today. Any movie channels hardly play it, which is a shame.
  12. If that moron Spurrier worried more about what was happening in Carolina and the SEC, and instead of OSU's schedule and taking shots at the Big Ten, he might do something good. I guess he is getting tired of getting throttled by teams up north. I know he wasn't coaching, but IU beat Carolina in the 1988 Liberty Bowl...I don't even think Carolina was in the SEC than.
  13. jdailey1981

    Who would it be?

Wilson is on the hot seat now, but barring any injuries, we should finish 8-4, 7-5 at worsen because as usual, we will lose some games we should win, and we could outplay some top teams. Over the past few years, we have played OSU pretty tough.

Hey...Saban likes the Crimson so....lol, he would just have to get used to not hearing Roll Tide and the Rammer Jammer chant. Haha
  17. Don't forget also, that many of the players from the 2012/13 team are still very active with the program and get involved on many levels. Vic and Cody are examples, and even Watford has been seen quite a bit lately.

    I'm worried about in-state recruiting.

That's just it, we need to have a solid foundation set out for new recruits to play on. This season can be huge! Will we win a NC? Doubtful, however, we can win the Big Ten. One more championship, and we will top Purdue with not only national championships, but Big Ten championships. You have to start somewhere though.

    I'm worried about in-state recruiting.

True statement! When CBK coached, kids used to line up all over the country to play for him, because they knew what he could deliver.

Former Hoosiers Weigh In on IU's Issues

I say that the players will move past this, and will surprise many this season. They are a laughing stock now. Let's see what happens come time for B1G play.
  25. jdailey1981

Time to move on its almost game day!

I hope they all learn, and come back to be badass as ever, because you know that IU will be a laughing stock after this. It isn't about respect. It is about them showing that they messed up, yeah, but they are moving on with what they came to do. Play IU basketball.
