Some of it is decent, but I don't think it's anything exciting.

[attachment=1457:ImageUploadedByBtownBanners1418937964.358412.jpg] This was before a soccer game in early November.

A Wichita State player (Shaq Morris) just knocked a ref out in the opening tip of overtime. Accidentally hit him hard on the top of the head coming down from the tip. Looked like it hurt...

Overall, I'd say this was a successful Challenge. The Big Ten won, but most of the teams I really don't like lost. It's always nice seeing Wisconsin and MSU lose in the same day, as well as OSU and Illinois last night. Add our win on top and we have a great week!

Not anymore.

Make that 7-3. PSU wins 61-58.

MSU loses in overtime. Big 10 still leads 6-3.

I'll be there before the event. We have the Crabb Band playing from like 5 until it starts. Unfortunately, they decided that they didn't want us playing during the actual event and didn't want to save us seats, so I'll have to leave before hysteria even begins...

This is why I'm glad we don't have a mascot

I think Hooter the Hoosier should be our mascot. I'm sure the rest of the drumline would be ok with him being promoted. -
I was lucky that one of my old roommates was a huge beer nut, so he always had stuff to try. Nowadays, I try to try new things all the time when I go to the Tap or any good bar.
-
The Tap is a great place to sample beers. Upland always has a great variety and none of their beers are too crazy. Dragonfly is a great IPA that's simple and delicious. Yogis has a great tap list, and Lennie's (right by campus Pizza X) has good BBC beers. Every Tuesday at 7, Yogis does beer school where they bring in a different brewery and give away free samples. This week's in Upland I think, you should check it out! Get there early though, it fills up fast. What have you tried? Bell's Two Hearted is a good, simple beer. If you want a pilsner, try Three Floyd's Jinx Proof (IMO the best pilsner out there). Upland Wheat is great too if you're new to craft beer. All of these are super easy to find around Bloomington.

They smell bad too!

Favorite Part of IU BBall Gameday Experience

SIngX3 is one of my favorite things that we play! Unfortunately, we only play it if we win, though. Here's a video of the Marching Hundred playing it for any interested parties. It's from a few years ago and the solo changes every year, but you get the idea! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZCyxjlVlf7g -

You made my night! It's really great to know that people enjoy what we bring to the game! My favorite part is always William Tell. It isn't called the best timeout in college basketball for nothing! -
He was at one of the soccer games 2 weekends ago. He had the boot on but I don't think he had crutches. I didn't get a good look, the band started playing and I had to pay attention. By the time we were done, I couldn't find him anymore. Most of the team did show up to the volleyball game last Friday but I didn't see him there. It's pretty intimidating playing drums with the entire IUBB team staring down your back.

One of my favorite bands (or artist I guess, this is a solo project) just put out a music video for his most recent album. The song is amazing on its own, but the video just adds to it. http://www.npr.org/event/music/345230594/into-it-over-it-the-shaking-of-leaves?utm_source=twitter.com&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=nprmusic&utm_term=music&utm_content=20140903

Three Floyds has never disappointed me. [attachment=1122:IMG_9119.jpeg]

It was apparently like 90+ degrees in there, I'm guessing he didn't want sweat through a suit.

No streams so far. Hopefully something will come up. I think Inside the Hall is going to be tweeting the games.
-
It's only a rumor... But either way, it'll be back.
-
Also, if you haven't had BBC's 10 speed, I highly recommend that you try it. Fantastic hoppy wheat ale. They had it over at Lennie's last weekend, it's hopefully still there.

I heard rumors that they might be changing the recipe for Zombie Dust to make it a bit easier to make, so it might be hard to get your hands on for a little while... But Gumball Head is always an excellent choice
-
I'd be ok even if we got some twitter updates during the game if there's no stream. Just something to hold us over until Hoosier Hysteria...

This made me smile. Wise words!
