I think you start with Zander and see how it goes. At least be more willing to switch between the two QBs, as frustrating as that can be at times. Lagow was short on every single deep route and was high on every single out route. His footwork is off and it looks like he may be having some issues learning the entire playbook. At least, based on the play calling I've seen. This weekend is another winnable game. Can't afford to fall behind early again and try to play catch up. Roll with Zander early and see how the offense responds.

Yeah, I didn't watch much, but I saw Carey with a few good runs. Jordan had a decent run in the time I was watching and a few bad ones that were due to poor line play.

Like I said up-thread, this game worries me. IU certainly can win it and I hope they do. A fast start would help calm my nerves. My prediction league guess this week was more heart than head.

This game scares me. Noon kickoff on the road against a so-and-so team. IU definitely can win it, but this has the feeling of one of those games that makes you scratch your head.

No timetable for return, correct? Best case scenario: is that it's a sprain, meniscus, or MCL/LCL. Worst case scenario: ACL. Collin is a smart player who can stretch the defense at the 4 spot and does a lot of dirt work. Wish him a speedy recovery.

Frustrating to drop point when Indiana was clearly the better team, especially after not getting a result against Maryland. It's true, the team hasn't had a consistent goal scorer since Zavaleta left, but this year the team has been scoring in a variety of ways. Finding the back of the net hasn't been an issue, yet. I would greatly appreciate it if Indiana would quick taking half-volley rips from outside of the box. Low, low, percentage chance that they will ever come off. Tanner looks amazing on the ball. He's come a long way in his four years. Side note - NW looked awful which is surprising, because they normally have a strong team.

Encouraging that IU didn't play its best and was still able to knock off a conference foe 2-0. It took Maryalnd 2 OTs to knock off winless Rutgers. Definitely looked like a sprain for McConnell. If that foul is anywhere else on the field it is a card without hesitation. The Michigan player there near the end, I forget specifically who it was, that came in late on Gutman should have seen red instead of yellow. Then he had the audacity to argue about it. All in all, I've been impressed with the start to the season. If IU can continue to find ways to get the ball in the back of the net, then they can beat anyone in the country.

Is it confirmed for sure or just something Dakich said was in the works? Dakich also claimed he was starting a 50 pound weight-loss challenge and quit after two weeks..

This whole "Meet the Hoosiers" campaign and the like/dislike videos during games etc, was started to try and help fans bridge the disconnect between the fans and the players after all of the off-court incidents the last few years. I think they're fun for the most part and can help show some of the personality you don't always get exposed to on the court.

Feel pretty confident heading into Saturday. Wish I was able to make the trip down, but have a lot of conflict with the schedule this season. Gonna tune in from the house. The o-line should dominate and the backs should be good to go again. Looking for Lagow to make smart decisions. Hopefully the defense has another good showing and can continue to build on an impressive start to the season.

So Scruggs is playing his senior year at a prep school in California.

It's my understanding that he'll be a student coach this year, he'll graduate, and play at a new school next year.

I really like contrast in running styles that exists between Majette and Redding. I was a bit skeptical of Redding coming into the season, hopefully he can consistently churn out performances like last night and the end of last season.
