Huh. Vogel took them to the ECF twice. Won the division. Made the playoffs with PG and a bunch of scrubs and almost beat the 2 seed. Almost made the playoffs last season with George Hill as his best player. They're not making it out of the East with LeBron there. Don't know what Larry expects. Kerr, Pop, Spo, Carlisle, etc. Vogel is right near the top.
-
Yeah, for DR and a top 3 pick? 0% chance the Pacers would ever take that.
-
We got a really big team, with some Sweet Sixteen rings.
-
Players should be able to go wherever they want.
-
I've been saying this for a while. Sign Conley and then either have George Hill or Ellis run with the bench unit. Need a dependable shooter off the bench, too. Solo played really well this series. I was never a fan, but maybe there's something there.
-
Nah, Vogel did well with what he had. They're not going to find a better coach on the market. Bring him back. Pacers are in a good spot with PG and Turner, just have to make the right moves in the off-season. I have no faith in Bird to do that, though.

No, it is 100% fake, as Twitter verified last night. http://thebiglead.com/2016/04/28/laremy-tunsil-jimmy-sexton-statement-fake/

(2018) SG Romeo Langford - INDIANA HOOSIERS
KB0 replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Well, for now anyway. -
Nope, unfortunately you're wrong. This is the amended NOA, not an amendment to the original NOA. Policies and procedures still apply, but the rest of the original NOA is null and void. Specifically, any reference to men's basketball and football was removed. Also the section about the classes being impermissible benefits was removed. All of the heavy hitters are gone from the original NOA.

If only Louisville had made their hookers available to roughly the same number of non-athletes.

ESPN's Updated Class of '16 Rankings
KB0 replied to Hovadipo's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
I agree with this too. All it really shows is the strength/size of the freshman class you are bringing in. Say you only have one scholarship open, but land the #1 recruit. Is that really a worse class than a school that signs 3 players somewhere in the teens and twenties? Like you pointed out, you never know how the incoming class will mesh with returning players. -

247sports compisite ranking says Indiana's recruiting class is the 18th best, 2nd in the Big Ten behind MSU (4). http://247sports.com/Season/2016-Basketball/CompositeTeamRankings ESPN has Indiana's class at 17. http://insider.espn.go.com/college-sports/basketball/recruiting/classrankings -

Weren't you the one who claimed recruiting rankings don't mean anything? :) -
What? KAT is better right now than Whiteside is and doesn't have any of the drama with him.
-
No, but it mentions Lack of Institutional Control still.
-
Pacers should get rid of Bird before they get rid of Vogel.

Roth was a stud on NCAA 2010, I guarantee Gelon won't be. :)

I believe this may be a year or two old now, but is still interesting/relevant. It's a list of the top programs in the last ten years based on number of top ten prospects that go one and done. *Disclaimer* - I did not make this list so if something is wrong I promise it is not my fault :) (17) Kentucky – 12 of 17 top 10 (70.5 percent); 8 of 9 top 5 (88.9 percent)(8) UNC – 1 of 8 top 10 (12.5 percent); 1 of 4 top 5 (25 percent)(7) Duke – 5 of 7 top 10 (71.4 percent); 4 of 4 top 5 (100 percent)(5) Kansas – 5 of 5 top 10 (100 percent); 2 of 2 top 5 (100 percent)(5) Arizona – 3 of 5 top 10 (60 percent); 2 of 2 top 5 (100 percent)(4) UCLA – 3 of 4 top 10 (75 percent); 3 of 4 top 5 (75 percent)(4) Texas – 3 of 4 top 10 (75 percent); 2 of 2 top 5 (100 percent)(4) Memphis –2 of 4 top 10 (50 percent); 2 of 2 top 5 (100 percent)(3) Ohio State – 2 of 3 top 10 (66.7 percent); 1 of 2 top 5 (50 percent)(3) Florida – 1 of 3 top 10 (33.3 percent); 1 of 1 top 5 (100 percent)(3) Baylor – 2 of 3 top 10 (66.7 percent); 1 of 2 top 5 (50 percent)(3) Indiana – 2 of 3 top 10 (66.7 percent); 1 of 1 top 5 (100 percent) -
Huh? Fischer was going to be/is a good college player. I don't think Crean wanted him to leave at all.

I expect closer to Niego than Roth or NZ. -
Without getting into specifics about RSCI and how it projects a player's collegiate future, yes there is a massive difference between being a top 150 recruit and being barely in/outside the top 300.
-
Bryan Colangelo is an absolutely awful GM. He was a mess with the Raptors. I'd much rather have Hinkie.
-
You really think so? He left the 76ers in a pretty good position honestly. Young assets, draft picks, cap room. I'd rather be the 76ers than say the Knicks.
