Send DD packing and give Hanner a VERY stiff suspension. This will let other players know that even if you are in the same room with this stuff going on you are a part of the problem. If Hanner knew DD was smoking up then I wonder how many other players knew it was going on as well???   This makes me question our teams (on court) leadership. Yogi? Nick Z? Colin? Thomas B? Somebody step up and get your teammates in check. You want to make a run at a National Championship or make a run to the 7-11 for munchies. If you're not a part of the solution then you are a part of the problem.   See you in October.

C   Agree with everything Wayne said. Hopefully going forward we will consider a year like this a down year and will only come once every 6-8 recruiting classes.

^^ A guy like Thon has been thru a lot as well. I feel like this wouldn't be a huge transition for him to make.   Also some young guys that live in very bad situations in inner cities might be looking for that type of change. Could end up being a huge culture shock, but the part where they get out of their current situation and are making large sums of money could be enough to push them to make a decision.

Remember reading an article on Brandon Jennings and he was saying he had a Brand new Volvo given to him a Flat (apartment) and he received per diem for food. Plus his entire salary was tax-free. If all of this is true then Emmanuel, Jennings, Thon or whomever would be essentially putting entire income into savings account. (minus a few bottles of Crystal) sp?   This is why I wonder why more kids do not do this more often. Specifially kids that need to make money soon to support family.

I would defer to anyone who knows him or has seen him more than me. If not Malik than a player similar. I would prefer an Indiana kid with high Bball IQ. This would be our 3rd string emergency PG. Just thinking about injuries (knock on wood).   Only watched him during the regular season game against Evansville Reitz. He played well. Great defender, clutch free throws, very fast, and from what I saw an above average ball handler.

Pap, you are in the know. What about the Williams Malik Bennett kid from Southport? Has he signed with anyone?   I am not sure if this is even possible, but would love to have a kid like that as a walk-on with the possibility of becoming a scholarship player his Junior or Senior year. Also couldn't hurt with Brunk and Scruggs.

Tom couldn't get it done with the #2 & #4 picks in the draft as well as 2 other Pros in the starting lineup 3 if you count Yogi plus 1 Pro coming off the bench.   Not sure if Any 2 players on our team even with Thon & Bryant will be the #2 & #4 picks in the draft in 2016.
