I'm going to go ahead and guess this presser isn't going to happen. When they announced Crean's firing, they announced it at noon with a 3 hour lead time to get media in place for the press conference. The latest I can imagine a presser scheduled is for 6pm in order to hit the evening news .... Using a similar timeline, they have a bout 10 minutes to release a statement........Indy news stations is at least an hour away and 37 is a mess right now so they better call it soon or I don't think it's happening .... Just my opinion ....

Don Fisher on DD saying "I don't know who the coach is.....really I don't know" .... his tone and his credibility makes me want to believe him ..... but if there's a presser today, Fish would know if there was a coach ... either another lie (end justifies the means of a lie) ... or really there's nothing here of significance.

Man, that would say A LOT about IU if we had 5 or 6 coaches decline the job .... could you imagine? We'd have to admit we're as delusional as everyone says we are at that point, right? I don't think that will happen but.....man that would be rough!

I'm 36, and my memories of Steve Alford are minimal at best ....kids 1/2 my age aren't going to give a flip about what he did 30 years ago, they want to know 1) what kind of shoes will I be wearing at your school? 2) will I be on TV 3) can you get me to the NBA? I don't think Steve Alford helps in any of those areas.

This is a good story of Coach ... A passerby saw Crean as he noticed someone in need. Crean pulled over, bought some food, sat down and talked for a few minutes and handed them a Bible. I agree, we got what was needed, he wasn't a good coach but I've heard several stories about him being a good man.

Where have we heard this line before?? I was neutral until this...No thanks on the Gregg Marshall hire....

Dakich says Alford or Fife should be the next coach.....Also did Billy Donovan will call him within a day....
