So we're debating if a coach should be nice or mean. Respect vs fear? Talking about knight again? We need to get back to firing woodson who has zero business coaching this program. The end of last season there was like 3 people on this board who thought retaining this clown was a good idea! The administration thinks like those three people! Northwestern looked great at michigan imo. Iu imo hasn't looked great to me very often this season. So with all that said who in the he'll knows what will happen tonight. I am scared to bet on it. Woodson should be gone after the season or before. To get another year he would need a big ten championship or a elite 8. We fired crean for not getting past sweet 16 so woodson is done even if he makes the tournament. I believe we won't get close to making the tournament. I don't need inside information to believe the administration has probably had a meeting to discuss what to do moving forward! Zero chance they are committed to finishing the season and likely not a chance a decision has officially been made. I have my opinion on what should happen. Others on here believe it will look bad to fire him now because the record isn't bad yet. To be honest there really isn't a good way out for them. It's a mess! I believe a retirement this weekend early next week is their best move. I believe they are dumb and will ride this far to long and we will be doomed to watch the purdue and michigan home games as our beloved basketball program officially burns and dies before our eyes with woodson taking the fall. Let's put it this way. You could not have played any worse and still won the game. It took everything and alot of luck played into a game that was well in hand with 4 minutes to go. You give any good team a 10 point lead with under 4 to go and almost all of the times they will win in regulation.
