Lol I was just comparing the qualifications and who I may have gambled on. I mean you had 2 iu guys. Both played for knight and 1 has been in the college game for almost 20 years. This isn't a guy I would want for our next coach but I am posing the question. How did Woodson get hired over Dane fife? Let's leave the rumors of why he was fired out for the moment. He did a pretty darn good job at ipfw then went and sat on the bench behind 1 of the very best coaches in the game! Just talking qualifications wise fife seems like the safer hire. Fife was never confirmed by any credible sources to be coach in wait lol. If he was ever considering to be head coach here I would hope Woodson wouldn't be able to just send him on his way because he disliked NIL. I have been a fan a little less time than you. I haven't lost interest but I want to. It's not fun! Perspective my daughter just got into iu basketball the year Woodson took over. She is 12 now. She said last night she wished we were purdue fans because we just lose all the time! I told her all we can do is keep hoping it gets better and being a fan isn't about winning. Unquestionably this is Woodson fault. This roster although with faults should never be this bad. This is at the point where I will say it's the worst coaching job I have seen at iu. The ejections and flagrant 1s just put the icing on the cake. I have felt we underperformed last season and we got second in the big! The coach isn't putting these kids in the best position to win before the season starts and then handicapps them with poor in game coaching. We have to have a upgrade because this is terrible! Can you believe he hasn't? Why would x still be a captain after the rutgers ejection? That is not the actions of a quality captain! I guess cj was just following the actions of the captain. We will never know but I would bet if we seen how x acted behind the scenes nobody on here would think he should be captain.
