Many people are idiots lol. I am a idiot. Alot of posters on here are idiots and that is ok! You know what isn't ok? The people in charge of evaluating these things being idiots is not ok! I was so bummed last season when I took my family to the northwestern game. The pregame shoot around was lazy and the team didn't look serious. We were laughing and practicing half courters while northwestern looked serious and did a actual warm up. The game started and the effort was disgusting. Credit gallo did hit a half court shot so we only lost by 1. I think the game after we got destroyed at Penn st. Someone on here started a fire mike woodson thread. It should have never been taken down imo. We bounced back to win some games and that at purdue game was awesome. The team we had and the entire body of work was pathetic imo. I feel that team underperformed because of crap coaching. I would have loved to have seen a competent coach have those kids. This program unfortunately needs a complete rebuild and it needs to happen after this season. We have had the same identity and problems since Archie stepped foot on campus. Our identity is now 17000 plus fans clinching their butt cheaks together on the first free-throws of the game because we suck so bad. No perimeter shooting. Poor below average guard play. Zero perimeter defense. We are never mentally tough for 40 minutes! These things should have been corrected by the new coach and especially by year 3. I read on here earlier the people who make decisions think this season is a fluke? That's scary. Flukes should not exist when talking about a entire body of work. Facts are the staff failed to get the right players and develop the ones they had. This is a coaching problem 100 percent and hopefully nobody in charge can't see that. I laugh at this! The we need a iu guy crowd got screwed. Guarantee nobody in the we need a iu club was suggesting a guy who just played here at had 0 college experience! I think most were thinking fife Alford Lewis with some college experience. Alford really the only real possible qualified guy on that list imo. I am not a we need a iu guy cause that is stupid. We need a winner. We should fire Woodson today and not hire a new coach until we find a winner. I am about 95 percent sure Woodson is gone imo. There is zero life to this program right now. If he had a few big time recruits signed he could ge another year but 1 player isn't going to cut it.
