I would expect even the worst power 5 team to move on from their coach with no recruits coming in and the possibility of a mass exodus. The fact there has been virtually no official press release from the university on anytbing is crazy to me.

So much for “building the bridge”. Getting a bunch of players out of the portal and failing to recruit is leaving zero program foundation for the next guy. Just plain lazy. It’s no shocker that the men’s basketball program has been middle of the pack for nearly 3 decades with decisions like this.

I’m meh on Stevens at this point. He has been out of the college game for a decade and a LOT has changed since he was around. Also hasn’t coached in 3 years. His appeal is less and less as the years go on.

But you see Mike Woodson isn’t the problem. No one knows basketball more than him. He tells you in his pressers how much it is everyone else fault but his. Guys with these egos think they can always turn it around because no one is smarter than them.

Add in the fact that Woodson needs guards... who is going to want to come from the portal to run his outdated offense.

Hard to believe BP won’t hit the portal hard for some shooters and have a team ready to compete off the rip if he came. When is the last time Indiana had a knock down shooter?!
