Some of the same people have the holier than thou attitude that scoff of the idea of shooting for bruce pearl, scott drew, talk about what sampson did to the program ect. Indiana has gone full blown free agency pay to play. While it is now legal, almost feels about as dirty as you can get.

19-14 is not a fireable offense after back to back tourney appearances. It’s just not. Having 0 recruits coming in, getting blown out numerous numerous times, and have the overall trajectory of the program trending way down is. I’m watching Nebraska make it rain from 3 last night and Indiana going down the other end and packing it in the post for 2s and weak @$$ takes to the rim. This offensive philosophy is flawed and out dated. It’s not going to change. Mike Woodson is not going to change.

This team has been beat down numerous times this season by good competition. Sure Indiana won 19 games but they aren’t even CLOSE to the rest of the pack. No recruits coming in there is no positive trajectory with this staff.

So woody can win a few more games next year than this year and get dicked in the tournament then call it an improvement and get that extension.

If I am Dolson and I don’t want to put my name on that then I am looking for another job. If I am the AD and I have no say apparently in the HC of the most important program at the university then why am I the AD

It’s gonna have to be the expectation if they want to find success next year in this offense. He will have to find something serviceable. A couple knockdown shooters will relieve some of the pressure in the paint as well. If Woodson is all on inside out wanker ball then he needs to get to work. Maybe he can strike a deal with big red liquors for an nba style jersey sponsorship to deepen the pockets with free wine as well.

If somehow Woodson can scrap together a solid 8-9 man rotation next year they could be fine. I’m sure he will bring in another rim protector but damn he needs to go get some guards that can shoot.

Outside of a few years, you could say this about the last 25 years almost. Around 20 wins a year give or take and double digit losses. Mediocre purgatory.
