Not going to let it define him or this team. Well done. -

I just wish we did not have to see Bruce Weber squawking and pacing all over the court the next time we watch the Retrievers of the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Wow that name is long. -

That may be true, but Virginia's offense is what is killing them tonight. -

We just need to stop worrying about what the other programs are doing, and start taking care of our own business imo. In the meantime, it is not wrong to watch a good team from Indiana, or anywhere for that matter, play a good game of basketball in the tourney. That Davidson/KY game was torture yesterday. No strategy. Just dribble drive on both sides, contested 3s all game long. I wanted to watch Kentucky lose, and that is the only reason I kept flipping back to it, and more torturous basketball. Ugh. It made me tired watching it. -

I know a lot of people say we are not supposed to like Butler anymore, but I really like watching them play basketball. And just as I post that, they look tired, and make 4 mistakes in the next 5 possessions lol. Not all the mistakes bite them in the @$$ tho. Butler must lack depth this year coz no substitutions. BUT 79 ARK 62 I've decided I still like Butler. -

Tom Crean to be next Georgia coach / 6 year 3.2 Million annually

One of the things I admire most about the man. At the end of the day, how many things are more important than getting paid? Think of all the people you know getting paid less than they deserve. And I bet you this. If any one of those people you know getting paid less than what they are worth asked Tom Crean what they should do to get what they deserve, he would probably take the time to give a solid detailed answer, and steer them in the right direction. That's so Crean. -
Well, whaddya know? Major Upset Alert. 13 BUF over 4 AZ lol. Could be anything. But also could be a "hmmm..." And now there goes State. Buh-bye. Doesn't prove anything, but teams rolling in the mud at tourney time seem to go down in just about every sport. I tend to think that is at least partly influenced by each sport's interest in marketing the brand.

Glad to know he landed on his feet. Also glad to know he didn't just milk the buyout. Absolutely intend to follow his career ex post IU, and wish him a ton of success. Sincerely hope he can learn to teach his students how to play defense, and how to play offense in the half court, and how to beat a zone. Optimistically in the old dogs can learn new tricks camp. Thanks for the good times, and thanks for the memories! Nice to have a coach leave without trying to kick us all in the teeth every chance he gets now that the best times together are over. More of a man in many ways than the supposed greatest. -
Is that what it looks like when you get demoted from the day shift at the Mafia to the night shift?

I don't understand the part where people want kids to face 'backlash' for choosing another program. That's sick. Not calling anyone in particular out. Just think about that a little. -
jmo my message board guess not a bold prediction. future timeline for next few years? I see the Nassar related civil suits against State playing out loudly next. Sprinkle in some more FBI bribe scandal facts coming to light. Then the civil suits against the NCAA play out causing NCAA to fidget. More bribe scandal facts come out. Civil suits involving athlete rapes play out. More bribe scandal. Just a guess, not a case I am staking. All the while I expect MSU recruiting to take hits. With the joy of coaching declining as the result, and nothing really left for Izzo to prove as a coach, I expect him to move on at some stage from what has now become much more negative and stressful than it used to be to something a lot more fun. He is 63 years old now. When the season is over he will have more time to reflect.

I think this is far from over. More the beginning. And I think some refs are going to make sure State does not get close to the title game with covert gnudges from the top. I dont think the NCAA can vacate so many titles year upon year sport upon sport. Would kinda be surprised if a squeaky clean cinderella does not win it all this year. That's a much better story than the story the NCAA would have to tell a few years from now when they would presumably have to vacate another major title, right after they finally inevitably lose big bright spotlighted cases to Aly Raisman, McKayla Maroney, and friends, FBI cases involving bribes, burying of rape cases against athletes, and allowing so many athletes and coaches to commit so much wrong under billowing clouds of suspicion while continuing to be allowed to represent the school and national college athletics as role models and heroes. Very far from over IMO. Aly Raisman just got involved less than two weeks ago. I would expect a lot of money and power to fall in line behind that. And State seems to want to try to fight, when they already should have surrendered a long time ago. Those fights are most likely going to be spectacular bloody charges into a heavily fortified no man's land. Every week a new big bombshell seems to drop. A few good side pluses could even come from all of this. ESPN and old school yes boy blowhards like Dick Vitale might each become collateral damage statistics for different reasons in the end lol.

pretty sure you have to drive 100 miles from Lawrence, Kansas just to reach the next gas station.
