I liked all of the coaching hires plus Matta for several different reasons, and I don't see the coaching staff + Matta as a negative for lots of good reasons. I see the staff+ as a positive. I also like guys on the team you may even hate, guys Woody brought in, and guys he asked to stay committed to the program in transition. I like X a lot, and I like Geronimo and Bates coming up a lot, and I love Race, and like Trey a lot too. I hope TJD comes back for another year because I like him too, a lot. There's more. You could end up being right in the end, and maybe IU will suck for a long time now. I would probably walk away from being a fan if all I saw was suckiness and sadness and disappointment in the future. I am actually looking forward to the Purdue game, and looking forward to the Big Ten Tournament because I actually still see a chance to get into the NCAA tournament, and who knows what happens then if our guys can get in? I haven't given up. Stranger things have happened than what could happen for IU this year. They could get into the tournament, and it is possible they could win some there too. I wouldn't bother to watch if I thought everything was hopeless. What would the point be in investing so much time and energy into inevitable failure?

It seems everything I read from you in the threads is about how bad IU sucks and will without question continue to suck in the future and beyond. Every speculation on any topic arrives at the suckiest possible conclusion no matter which path IU took in the past or will take in the future except for whatever monthly point you are currently pushing that will never happen. Off the top of my head, according to you we should not have hired Woody, even though also according to you nobody else would have come here anyway, because everything here sucks so bad everybody with any sense in or around IU should rightfully hate life itself. All of our players suck, but they should all leave and go somewhere else as soon as possible because everything sucks so bad here nobody good will ever come here, and they shouldn't, and that's never going to change because our program consists of nothing but losers in loserville top-to-bottom. It has been that way for 20 years, and will be 20 years from now at least without question no matter what we do except for this one position of the month you want to push in every thread. Sometimes you spam the same harshly negative opinions repeatedly in 10 separate threads at a time. You work the board so hard with many of those repeats I sometimes think you should get paid for the work you do just because you are working so hard at it lol. Your post I replied to even referred to how over Bloomington guys must undoubtedly be by now the way some other guys in the past must have been, and that is why those guys from the past got out when they could. I just can't for the life of me recall a happy ending to any of your many posts haha. Maybe today will be the day. It's Friday.

Just saw Mo's segment on CNN this morning. Putin is so lucky Mo came home. With Mo launching nonstop from Ukraine to the Kremlin, it was only a matter of time before Putin's luck ran out. I fully expect Mo to continue launching from Btown. It's just probably going to take a little more time for him to land that shot in Putin's lap from that far away. It's gonna happen. We just don't know when he's going to land that big one from so far away. Glad you're back, Mo. Keep launching, buddy. Glad you're safe. Loved the CNN segment.

You don't seem to like IU or even Bloomington, Indiana very much.

I was never more ashamed as an IU fan than I was the day I went to an IU basketball game and "the blackout" was staged on national television. Shocking brazen wink/wink 'know nothing' move. I felt the sensation of impending doom, and an eerie vertigo like falling endlessly the whole game. I don't ever want to feel that feeling again. Just being in the building when that happened made me feel like an accomplice even though my conscience is clean. It made me feel guilty just by association, and I felt obligated to point out that "the blackout" was a dark moment in Indiana basketball history.

We got called for 9 more fouls on our own home court in a Big Ten basketball game against Wisconsin last night. That is relevant.

We got wrecked by the refs on so many ticky/tac calls when we played much better on plays than the visitors to our hall played, but the visitors got fake turnover calls and fake called trips to the line against us over and over repeatedly even so in our own filled house, so much so, why even watch this sh@t? It is not entertainment to get @ss-wrecked by outsiders who play somewhat less than our home team but still win after hours watching because often the team that played a lot better than its opponent does not win in the league.

and that isn't even really a bad thing either. so many fun things to do with 6 or 7 more hours of free time every week Nov through March. It's not even a bad thing really to add all of that time to the free time ledger. Think of all the several hour bad moods you can lose now every week. No even a decision to say wow, good-bye, thank you for all of the free time I can use now.

just that we get burned on calls that were not getting called all night, only in moments when they could sway momentum the other way. wisconsin did not play a better game than indiana tonight. so stupid to even spend time watching this as if the end result was not already determined by minimum wagers who wtf why not tilt a game for $$$$$? I'm good if they want to kill Indiana basketball from the outside. I have many other rewarding things to do with time spent inside in the winter. I'm good with this. not even gonna be angry anymore. just bye now.

Childress looked great modeling in front of the press table waiting to go in for a long time. I think Woody left him there for 5 minutes before pulling him from that position then putting him back there again before pulling the trigger giving Childress that chance. If I'm picking a poster shot for Nick I'm picking the phot of him modeling in front of the scorer's table waiting to get in the game for the first time.

wish we could have called a time out with the ball to get an open shot after the rebound with time enough to do that, but it also would have been cool for Leal to hit that 3PT in the face of the air ball chanters when we didn't. it almost went in. idk just win with what we got tonight n we can analyze the script later like we do if you want lol

In a high school gym (it would be a high school gym in Indiana anyway)

Been living in Chicagoland for most of my life and never remember seeing hot Northwestern cheerleaders before. I like the new transfer and NIL rules if that is what brought some hotties to the the NU squad. Whatever it is I like it.

I have been wanting to see TJD, Race, and Geronimo on the floor together for awhile now, and tonight we have that chance, and I like what I am seeing.
