Player and Recruit Retention News/Discussion & Potential Transfers
Rookie33 replied to Brass Cannon's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
McSwain ain't going anywhere. He is 1 of 2 guys that actually improved last year over the course of the season (with JN). I think he will play 10-15 minutes a game as he's big, tough and athletic. And he just posted an Instagram photo of himself working out with CAM watching on. -

Anyone think Pinson is overrated? He can't shoot and is a turnover machine. Reminds me of Troy as a freshman. -

Not sure - could mean "ready for liftoff" which could be construed as staying too. -
Morgan Miller is [emoji91][emoji91][emoji91]

FL pissed it away - no thx, Mike White

He's the most legit person to say something - I stress MOST legit (not saying he's legit or right).
-
I genuinely have NO idea!

"Barely ever" may be an overstatement... [emoji106]🏻

Miller apologist -- [emoji6]. Call a spade a spade - Mack schooled him. Miller is a TOP NOTCH recruiter. He disappoints in the tourney, which we all agree is what matters most. I, personally, have moved him down the list (still above Crean, Whitman, Woodson, Fife and Alford, tho).

They kept jacking 3s with a huge advantage down low. That's coaching. Reminded me of the Syracuse game a few years ago... this game shouldn't have been close - the size and talent discrepancy was obvious. He had no answer for the zone - deer in headlights. Crean was in Final 4 - Miller... not so much. #failedaudition
-
He out-coached Miller by leaps and bounds. Miller failed the audition. I would take Mack and be satisfied.
-
Second half thus far too... all Zona does is jack 3s despite a huge size advantage. Seems like an almost Crean-like approach.
-
A. His focus was more on Lando getting cold feet.
-
In Clavio we trust...

FWIW, Milehi (247) just posted that Billy D may be getting cold feet (ala the Orlando job) and that Alford is a backup plan. Sigh....

Anyone else see that Fife pulled out of Duquesne negotiations?? Interesting development...

Agreed. I can see have a career much like Jared Jeffries' career - okay offensive player whose defensive abilities facilitate a 10-year run in the League. -
I don't believe this -- FG knows he MUST hit a homerun here. A seasoned lawyer and negotiator would NEVER expect someone like BD to take a paycut to come here (nonetheless offer something below what's already being paid at another job). That'd just be dumb.
-
Agreed - Fife over Crean too!
-
Seinfeld reference -- George got "aroused" while receiving a massage (from a male)....
-
I think "it just moved"....

FWIW, I just received a text from a friend whose father-in-law is on the board of trustees. Claims Donovan (w/ Calbert as an assistant) is done and that an announcement may come as soon as tonight. Again, this is not confirmed, but the father-in-law's status is legit/confirmed (as he flies to all home games from Carmel), so I pay it some credence as it's consistent with what we all have been hearing....

Who is????

FWIW, Mile (on 247) stated that he he received similar such intel this morning (i.e., suggestion of a presser today).
