Steve McClain- Oregon State

McClain supposedly is in the final 2 for the job. If he gets it, I would think that Darren Horn is a definite. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

    Jalen Coleman

There is plenty of time for things to change, particularly if we have a strong season lead by our strong guard play...

    Eron Harris to MSU

In all honesty, I just don't see us getting a commitment from a big time recruit until we show that we've "righted the ship" on the court.

    Eron Harris to MSU

I saw Harris play AAU with Yogi, Hanner and JH.  He definitely stood out during the 2 games that I saw (aside from a lefty windmill breakaway jam from Hanner).  He and Yogi definitely have chemistry, so that might help us here....

    Ryan Anderson to Arizona

I truly hope that we get Harris, but if we don't the sky is NOT falling.  Think about it -- we have Yogi, JBJ, ROJO and Stan already.  That's a SICK back court and all 4 guys are going to play significant minutes, so adding a 5th would certainly complicate matters, IMO.  I wouldn't blame Harris for going somewhere that he'd absolutely be guaranteed significant minutes and wouldn't have to compete with others for it...

No brainer. West coast kid and Zona is AWESOME. Not surprised in the least. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

    Naddir Tharpe

I heard he's looking to transfer from KU.  Didn't IU offer him way back in the day? He'd be a great addition, would provide us with some class balance and would have an extra year after Yogi's done. Seems like a no-brainer to me...

    Yogi and Stan Arrested....

Not having a report "on record" doesn't mean nothing transpired. Whatever it was (or allegedly was) must not have been all that serious. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

  11. I think the staff moved on a few weeks ago; we should all do the same. If JC thinks he's better off at the likes of Bradley or South Carolina, then Godspeed to him.... Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Judson has shown he knows Xs and Os as he designed the game plan for Michigan. Kory Barnett for Director of Basketball Ops? Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

    Hollowell to Georgia State

Houston is about where JH belongs IMO. I hope he and KS are happy together. Good riddance... Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

(2014) C Jeremiah April to IU

His body is similar to a young Tyson Chandler. Long neck, skinny in the middle but big legs. He's much more fluid running and catching the ball than Jurkin seemed to be in high school, so I think he's a tad farther along than PJ was. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

    Kenny Johnson to Louisville

It's Darren Horn - done deal, IMO Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

    We Need Two!

It should be entertaining if/when Cunningham commits elsewhere. That said, I continue to believe that this offseason would be quiet/boring had Luke not decided to leave as we'd be looking very good had he been able to deal better with being away from home. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

    Remember this Hoosier baller?
All you have to do is compare Creans contract to others in his industry and then you decide. Let's take Hoiberg at Iowa St. He played there and was known as "the mayor" during his playing days. Just gave him a $600,000 raise which takes him to 2.6 over 10 years. BUYOUT 2 million if he leaves for another NCAA program or 1/2 mil for NBA. Compared to Creans 14 or 16 mil buyout? Do you really think Sampsons contract was worse? He cost us approx 700,000 to get him out of here so its not even close. Glass gets all the credit that's why his job will be in jeopardy also.
Glass is safe as our football program seems to be in excellent hands. It's all about the $ and football generates a TON more than hoops. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  19. At this point, there will be no choice but to give PJ a few minutes per game. I want to see if his jumper is as good as advertised. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

    We Need Two!

Crean has likened Max to Steve Novak who (like Wat) played the "stretch" 4. That said, Wat banged a lot on D (as a junior and senior) and made some plays with his back to the basket. Max will be a work in progress but it's not a huge stretch to see him playing that role as he gets older. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  22. Not a surprise. OSU develops bigs, we develops wings and guards. As UCONN just showed, guards win titles.... Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

6-9 F Moses Ayegba to Nebraska

He will start for us if we get him. He was 99.98 % committed to us at one time. If we can't get him now, then the "toxic" talk will seem legit. That said, I think we're gonna surprise next year playing small ball and pressing. UCONN has given me hope. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
