I think that IU won't win another bball championship until Bob Knight returns. That probably sounds weird but I think it's the Knight Curse lol. Football is a whole different problem. CKW has the program being competitive at times and his recruiting has been above average for iufb. I wonder what his pitch is to get players to IU tho. Does anyone have an idea? (Just wondering)

I didn't even look like he touched him on the replay and he barely even touched him at that with no intention to do anything. Sidenote: the ref not being able to get his flag off his belt was funny. Lol

I'm saying that if Tre's good games against not good defenses don't count why should Sudfeld's? So you're saying that a dropped screen pass, handoffs and one QB run is enough to decide if someone shouldn't play for the rest of the game? Yes blew it. His pass was way underthrown. I'm not saying the navy game is all his fault because our defense was trash but big mistakes like that certainly didn't help our chances Edit: The Mac is not a strong conference by any means. The best team they played was Northern Illinois and their entire offense was basically Jordan Lynch. Don't get me wrong winning a conference is impressive but they didn't beat any power conference teams.

It's hard to say Sudfeld out played Roberson in those games when Roberson didn't hardly even play in Bowling Green, Navy, and Penn State. No one played well in the OSU game or Wisconsin game. Sudfeld blew the navy game with a pick 6. I'll give you the Minnesota game but the Bowling Green and Illinois defenses were not good. I say sudfeld played well against Penn State and Illinois. The Minnesota game was mostly a mix of Stephen Houston and TC running all over the defense. Plus Sudfeld contributed to the late turnover (Not all his fault bad play call) but it was a very very poor decision.

He simply was though. You can't judge a kid from two drives like the navy game. He wasn't given enough passing reps. But the ones he did except Minnesota he played very well. He simply out performed Sudfeld in most of the games. I'm not even blankly throwing out numbers. He played well got tds put up better stats even against teams that had decent defenses like Michigan and Missouri when they put in the 4th

Idk Shane Wynn has had a decent year and DeAngelo Roberts has had a bad year either

He had 15 passing tds on around half of the attempts sudfeld had. 5 rushing tds which puts him at 20 tds with a less reps. Roberson had a very good season for the reps he was given. And while it's fun for us all to sit back and dream about having tre still, does anyone think that CKW is going to make a QB change after 11 yards of passing?

How many passes did he throw against navy? Not enough to dig us into a hole and it was two drives. Maybe one or two passes and one was a dropped screen pass. Minnesota was a bad game I'll give you that. Penn state was the only game where I said "wow sudfeld played really well". Missouri game sudfeld played poorly they put in tre in the 4th and he gets two TDs. Tre played better all year.

Roberson didn't get hardly any reps til the end of the season and the ones he did were usually qb run plays and the opposing defensive knew that he was gonna run so it didn't work. Roberson outplayed sudfeld by a lot down the backstretch of the season (see Michigan and Purdue games). In Michigan game sudfeld had one pass attempt and an interception.

Can you blame him? How do you expect Tre to sit behind someone that he outplayed? In a general situation the person who has the best performance gets the job. Tre didn't want to waste the talent he had sitting behind sudfeld who had a mediocre season at best.

Did you watch the cream and crimson game? Clearly Roberson won the job. He outplayed sudfeld all last year and he adds an element that Sudfeld can't, he can ACTUALLY run. I know sudfeld thinks he can scramble but he can't. Disappointed as IU fan to let the better QB walk out the door because of poor coaching decisions.

Maybe Wilson shouldn't force out Coffman and Roberson before the season starts and I wouldn't be calling for his head
