I see it like this....Crean makes terrible coaching decisions time after time....IF he was an elite X's and O's coach, he might be able to get away with 1-2 4 star or 5 star and the rest role players BUT he is not...in order for Crean to win, he would need to have a stacked deck and it is looking like we are not going to see that again for awhile...

Is the Smits kid a real possibility? I have not heard much about him outside of the one post here...

Bad move by  the guys and they should know better BUT in the end, this will soon blow over and they will move on with their lives and basketball season will make this look like the distant past......Also, I think the cop might have let Yogi go with warning if not for the presence of fake id's...I mean, a week or two from being 21, kick him out of the club with a warning....the fake ID made it impossible for the cop to just move them along IMO.....  THAT BEING SAID...If I had been arrested for every time I consumed alcohol before my 21st birthday, I would be serving 10 life sentences at this point! They are college kids doing what the other college kids are doing....I give em a pass with a warning that they need to hold themselves to a little higher standards than their cohorts..

It's a little agonizing to see the myths about leaving for the NBA thrown around every time a great player seems to want to leave early......Myth 1....Oh, he better leave now while he is a top draft pick because its too risky...what if he stays and gets hurt???...You know how many times a player expected to go to the NBA and possibly be a top draft pick has been hurt after choosing to stay in college?....crickets....crickets......Hell, can you tell me the number of players who have career-ending injuries playing college basketball period??? Lets just put aside NBA prospects for a minute.....crickets...crickets...Yeah....there is about as much chance of it happening as there is the kid being struck by lightning...The fact that there is not ONE famous case on the tip of everyone's tongue when talking about this should tell you something...Myth 2...MONEY.....a millionaire is a millionaire...ok, maybe waiting puts someone in the single millions instead of the double figure millions....wow....shameful....the biggest risk is going to the NBA, being a bust and THEN having a career ending injury after not getting your degree and spending all those millions....THAT happens and there are documentaries about it,,,   My point is that the kids can wait....period.....there are no risks...These kids have more of a risk of alcohol poisoning, car accidents, suicide, medical issues outside of basketball ruining their careers than a game injury. Lets stop perpetuating the myth and then maybe more kids will get the picture and stick around.

..Exactly the issue...We are trolling for the bottom of the barrel and Crean still unable to pull in at this time...which is a problem....points to a perception issue with these kids for whatever reason....

Unions destroying college sports...gotta love unions...anything they can do to make a buck for those at the top....this is like enacting Obamacare and ruining everyones healthcare instead of just finding a way to take care of the 8 million who need it for one reason or another and leaving the rest of us alone........The NCAA needs to step in and allow some sort of stipend per month for the college athlete and make sure they are covered for injuries incurred while playing....simple......Here is another thought....this will have to apply to ALL college athletes so who are we going to submit to the Olympics exactly? If you are getting paid, you cannot join the Olympic team...Just a complete circle jerk all around but to be expected from career progressives....NLRB is a complete shill for progressives and unions....I will enjoy seeing some colleges just shut down athletics when they see how much it costs them...take that unions....
